Strange feelings

Chapter 6

Ruby is standing in front of a door, the door of her old house.

No one lives there anymore, it has become a ruin.

Ruby wipes a tear from her face.

How Did she become such a monster? What Sofia said wasn't nice either but she shouldn't have smacked her.

Ruby! She hears a voice calling her.

She turns around and sees Jane and Lilly running up to her.

Omg Ruby are you okay? Jane asks in a worried voice.

No, NO! Fuck no! I-I'm a monster. Please leave before I hurt you too!

Jane and Lilly hug Ruby. You're not a monster, Ruby! Lilly says.

Ruby calms down a little and thanks them.

Lets get inside and look for that gate. Lilly says whilst pulling out of the hug.

Jane hugs Ruby tight and then let's go.

Ruby blushes and responds; its in the attic, I always used to make a fort and when I needed to hide I felt safe there.

That also matches the shadow's description. He said: 'A place where you used to hide from your nightmares, a safe space.'

Of course it's an creepy attic, Jane says scared. Its aways those damn creepy attics!

Ruby giggles. And then they walk in, back into her old house.

Here it is! I found the fort! Ruby called.

The fort was still somewhat intact, of course the pillows were greasy and dirty but it still looked like a fort.

I don't see a gate or anything like that. Jane says. Maybe you were wrong?

No she's not! Lilly exclaims. Look there is an crack here.

OMG open it, Ruby! Jane says.

What!? No are you crazy? Lilly says. We don't have any protection!

Jane: So what? If we just open it nothing will happen.

Lilly: How are you so sure about that?

They continue arguing and Ruby slowly gets a headache.

Ruby: Guys...

Lilly: Yes but what I'm saying is that there might be a whole army of monsters behind that thing!

Ruby: Guys!

Jane: Yes and? We have Ruby's powers right!?

Lilly: Yes but..

Ruby: GUYS STOP ARGUING OMG!

Sorry. Lilly says.

I don't feel good and its getting late we should head back home. Ruby says.

Oh yea of course, are you okay tough? Jane asks.

I'm fine.

We'll come back tomorrow, with weapons.

When they come back at Ruby's house, everyone went separate ways.

Only Jane hesitates a little.

Uhm Jane.. I don't want to be alone. I know my mom is at home but it's still scary.

I don't want to be alone either, maybe I can stay over? Jane asks.

Ruby lets go a relieved sigh, of course you can! She says.

They walk inside and go into Ruby's room.

Do you maybe have some pajama's for me?

Uh yea of course, here you go. Ruby said while handing her a white oversized t-shirt and some shorts.

Jane starts to get dressed into the pajama, right there, in front of Ruby!

Ruby blushes and turns around, then starts to put on her pajama too.

When Ruby turned around again Jane was wearing her pajama.

She looked super cute, the shirt was a bit too big for her and the shorts we're barely visible.

I can sleep on the floor if you can give me a blanket. Jane said.

Oh no need, I think we'll both fit in my bed. Ruby said without hesitation. She could slap herself on the head right now! Why did she have to say that? this is so awkward!

Uh okay. Jane says while blushing a bit.

Ruby's stomach had became one big butterfly garden, she couldn't help herself.

They crawled into bed and made themselves comfortable, ruby was facing jane now.

That gave her the good opportunity to look at her face, she had beautiful blue eyes and she could see every freckle on her face.

She smelled like roses and for some reason that made her even more attractive.

Ruby couldn't help herself but looking at her lips, they looked so soft and she wanted to kiss them so bad. 

yup, she was definitely super gay!

What are you looking at, Ruby? Jane asks.

Oh shit! Ruby thinks. I- erm sorry.. Ruby says.

Jane chuckles. Oh my god what is she cute.

Ruby moves her head a little closer, she notices that jane does that too.

Are they about to kiss? Ruby panics.

Then Ruby's mom opens the door, at this moment ruby really hates her mom.

Oh hello Jane, I didn't know you were staying over.

Ehh yes hello miss, I'm uh staying over tonight. Jane said stuttering.

Ruby chuckles softly, did she already mention that she thought Jane was cute?

Okay, I just wanted to say that I'm leaving really early tomorrow and I'll be back around 11pm.

But now I'm going to leave you two ladies alone, have a great night!

Thanks mom.

Ruby's mom closes the door again.

Jane rolls over to her other side so she isn't facing Ruby anymore.

Shit , shit, double shit! Jane probably thought she was weird now! She really screwed up.

Ruby turned around too and a tear escaped her eye.
