Ruby wakes up in the same field as before. Shit why am I here again? Ruby thinks.

Hello Ruby, you're back. Suddenly the shadow appears behind her.

Ahh! What the hell am I doing here again?!

Wow you got some attitude now huh? The shadow walks up to her, Ruby shivers. Please let me go! Why couldn't you have chosen anyone else?

Oh I know everything about you Ruby, even your darkest secrets.

Wh-what do you mean darkest secrets? The shadow didn't answer that.

I have decided to give you a little heads up. The shadow says. I'm going to give you a few hints about where you can find the gate.

It's in a place where you used to hide from your nightmares. Your 'safe space'. The shadow says.

Ruby is confused, but she thinks she knows what the shadow means. How would he know about that place? The only person that knew about that place was her dad.

Besides it was in her old house, so how is she even going to get there?

But, even if I do find that gate how the hell do I open it? Ruby asks.

Just use your powers, I assume you have already found out about those. The shadow answers.

Everything begins to fade away and then ruby wakes up from her alarm.

RUBY STALLSON YOUR ALARM HAS BEEN GOING OFF FOR ALMOST 10 MINUTES! TURN IT OFF NOW OR YOU'RE GROUNDED! Ruby hears her mom yelling from her bedroom.

Ruby turns of her alarm and rolls over.

Out of nowhere ruby begins to cry, its all getting too much.

She doesn't want to go back to her old house, she hates that place, because she didn't want to be reminded of her dad. She still missed him.

Ruby gets out of her bed and starts to get dressed. She is wearing a pink and orange colored sweater and some baggy black jeans.

She packs her bag and walks to the kitchen, she quickly grabbed an apple and ate it.

She walks down the hallway and puts on her red converse. BYE MOM! IM GOING TO SCHOOL!

No response.. MOM? Ruby begins to get worried.

Jesus Ruby I just fell asleep again!

Oh I'm really sorry mom, anyways I'm going to school. Bye!

When ruby arrives at school she mediately starts looking for Lilly and Jane.

She hates herself for not going to apologize to Sofia but saving the world, or at least this town is a bit higher priority.

She finds Jane sitting alone on a bench and walks over to her.

Jane smiles at her and Ruby feels butterfly's in her stomach.

She has to focus on more important things then something stupid as feelings, if they even were feelings? Just shut up!

Hey Jane, have you seen Lilly?

Uhh no, but how are you feeling? Did anything weird happen again?

I dreamt about the shadow again, he told me where I might find the gate.

Really? Are you sure that wasn't a trick or something?

No I don't think so, it seemed pretty real. Ruby says.

Hi guys! Lilly says.

Hi Lilly! Ruby says while she stands up and gives her a hug.

I just told Jane that the shadow came back in my dream tonight, he told me where I could find the gate!

Oh that's great Ruby, but maybe we should talk about this later because class is about to start.

Oh yea of course, Jane what class do you have? Ruby asks.

I have math's now in classroom 108 can you maybe help me find it?

Oh we have math's now too you can come with us. Lilly says

Jane's POV:

When they go to their class everyone goes to sit down, except Jane because she has no assigned seat.

There is a seat left next to Sofia so Jane sits next to her.

Of course she doesn't know about the fight between Ruby and Sofia so she asks what's wrong when Sofia acts annoyed.

Your stupid girlfriend, that's what is wrong. Sofia says frustrated.

M-my girlfriend? What do you mean?

Just forget it, its nothing. Sofia smiles but Jane feels like there is something going on.
