N-NO! Y-you died 10 years ago! You cant be my father, he's dead!! Ruby exclaims in pure shock.
Oh but I am my dear daughter. Her father said meanly smiling at her.
Ruby grabbed a knife and walked up to the man who claims to be her father.
She tries to stab him but he grabs her arm and turns it around.
Ruby feels the cold knife against her throat, she closes her eyes because she's scared of what's going to happen.
No Ruby! She hears Jane scream.
Did you really think you could stab me!? her father says and he tightens his grip on the knife.
Still having her eyes closed Ruby hears someone coming towards her.
She hears her dad in pain and she hears Jane screaming something.
Ruby is released and she falls which caused her to open her eyes, she sees her dad fighting Jane but he's too strong for her.
Sofia Runs towards them and tries to help Jane but Ruby's dad uses his powers to blow her away.
Sofia drops hard on the ground and she becomes unconscious.
Ruby then realizes what is happening and she runs to Jane
She could not let another friend die! She wont let that happen!
GET FUCKING OFF HER! She yells, and she uses all her powers to blow her dad off of Jane.
Ruby's dad gets thrown off of Jane and he smacks hard on the ground.
He looks up at Ruby and then suddenly they are back in the woods and her dad is gone.
Sofia is unconscious and Jane is laying defeated on the ground, Lilly's body is also gone.
Ruby rushes to Jane and falls on her knees besides her.
Are you okay? She asks.
Asks me tomorrow? Jane says smiling and gets up a little.
Ruby places her hand on Jane's cheek and pulls her towards her, they both close their eyes and Jane tilts her head up a little.
Ruby presses her lips on Jane's, it feels like those stupid butterflies are finally being released.
She feels the warmth of the kiss spreading trough her entire body and it's the best feeling.
Jane places her hand on Ruby's arm and she feels little tinkles coming from Jane's fingertips.
Ruby pulls back and she opens her eyes again looking at Jane, her hand still on her cheek.
Jane smiles at her but then she looks at the ground in guilt.
I-I uh.. I'm sorry I-I didn't mean to- Ruby stutters and she pulls back her hand.
Jane wants to say something but she is cut of by Sofia who is slowly waking up.
What the.. guys? What happened? my head hurts! They hear Sofia say.
Ruby quickly turns around and rushes to Sofia.
Are you okay!? She asks concerned,
No! of course not! My friend just got murdered by YOUR dad who also tried to kill me! Sofia shouts at Ruby.
Why are you saying it like that? Ruby asks hurt.
Sofia doesn't respond to that.
Why are you blaming her? Its not Ruby's fault that her dad is a psycho! Jane defends Ruby.
You know what!? I'm leaving! Two people that are important to me have died already and I'm not going to be the next one! Sofia exclaims.
She gets up and begins to walk away.
No, wait Sofia! You can't leave, that's too dangerous! Ruby shouts and she runs after her.
Jane also gets up and runs after them.
JANE'S POV:
Woah! What the hell just happened in the last 15 minutes!?
Her new friend got murdered, she narrowly escaped the murderer herself, she found out that the murderer is her crushes dad that's supposed to be dead for 10 years and oh yea, that crush also just kissed her! Jane thinks to herself.
Why did Sofia have to wake up just when Jane was about to confess that she liked Ruby!?
Maybe it's better that she didn't tell Ruby, she probably just kissed her because she was overwhelmed!
Why does shit like this always happen to me? Jane thinks.
Nope, that's not fair, Ruby and Sofia just lost their best friend and she's over here whining about a stupid crush.
Suddenly she gets pulled out of her own head by Ruby and Sofia's talking.
Alright fine, I'll stay! I'm just.. Sofia begins to cry and Ruby hugs her.
This time Jane doesn't join the hug, she doesn't know why but she just can't have any physical contact with Ruby right now.
Let's go and find us a way out of here! Ruby says.
Don't we have to kill the shado- uhm I mean your dad first? Jane asks.
Ruby looks sad at her hands.
I don't know. She says. I don't know if I can kill my, dad..
Sofia nods, then we'll do it! Right, Jane?
Jane nods and looks at Ruby.
Don't be ridiculous! You've seen what he can do, maybe even worse! The only person here who has a slight chance to win from him is me. Ruby says.
I'll do anything to get revenge on Lilly! Please Ruby, let us help. Sofia asks-almost begs Ruby.
I'm in! Jane says while stepping next to Sofia.
Alright then, but I don't want you guys to get hurt! Ruby eventually says.
Lets go then! Sofia says while sprinting away and Jane follows.
Wait! Jane? Ruby asks.
What? Jane responds, hoping that Ruby is going to bring up the kiss.
Uhm, about earlier.. lets just forget it? Ruby says.
Wow, that's not what she was hoping for!
Jane bites her lip trying not to cry and nods. Uh yea, sure. She says.
I'm really sorry! Ruby says and then she runs after Sofia and Jane follows.
RUBY'S POV:
Why am I so freaking stupid!? Ruby asks herself.
What if Jane actually likes her back? Or what if Jane hates her now!?
There's no time for whining! She has to kill her dad.
That sounds so weird, but it has to happen or else... she doesn't want to think about it!
Wait, guys? How do we know where Ruby's dad went? Sofia asks.
He's at the field. Ruby says immediately. She doesn't know why or how but she has a feeling that he will be there.
How do you know that? Jane asks her.
I don't know, I just do. Ruby answers.
The girls walk all the way back to the field and when they get there, Ruby's father is actually there...
