He does not have the best relationship with his oldest brother, Tomoki.
Tomoki would almost always break Tomoda's promises, which causes the two to have a very thin connection, it all started after Tomoki started working.
Tomoda felt like he had lost his brother, determined to get his brother back, he starts having Tomoki made promises to him, in hopes that Tomoki would change if he ever broke one.
Many have been broken, but Tomoda still kept trying, though its not healthy, its the only way he could think of to get his big brother back.
Cause that's what's family for right?
