Chapter Eight: Identity Revealed

The New DigiDestined and Tai were currently at the school on the field, as they watched Davis' soccer match.

Davis was able to stop another player from scoring. Everyone applaud and cheered for him.

"Davis, nice play!" Tai said, giving him a thumbs up.

Davis rubs his nose sheepishly, grinning at the compliment.

It is now the next day, as everyone is in the computer room.

"Tamachi Boys F.C,'s Ken Ichijouji had a record of 45 goals in the last tournament, which led his team to victory." Yolei read the information on the screen.

"Amazing..." Tai said. "That's twice the previous record!"

"Seems like calling him a genius wasn't an exaggeration." Cody said.

"He'll be a great opponent." Davis said, he balled his fist. "We didn't face off in the last tournament."

"If you made it to the finals, you would have, right?" TK asked, looking at Davis.

"Yeah, wouldn't you have met him in the finals?" Natsu asked, looking at Davis.

"Don't remind me." Davis said, looking at TK and Natsu.

"Can you win?" Kari and Tomoya asked.

"It's not about winning or losing." Davis said. "Right now, all the boys who plays soccer in this country want to be like him!"

"Hey, Dai-chan~!" Yolei called.

Davis was dumbfounded. "D-Dai-chan?" He asked.

Yolei grabs Davis' hands. "If you meet Ken Ichijouji, can you get me his autograph?" She asked.

"I thought you said you didn't like younger boys." Cody said.

"What's one year?" Yolei asked, looking at Cody. "My Mother is three years older than my father anyways."

"Why don't you get it yourself?" Davis asked.

Yolei realized something. "You've got a point." She said.

"Then, we'll go and support you!" Kari said.

"So do your best!" Tomoya said.

"Really?" Davis asked, looking at the others.

Everyone and the new DigiDestined's Digi-Partners and Kudamon were at the field, they were at the seats watching Davis and his team stretching.

Kudamon was around Natsu's neck.

"Do your best!" Kari shouted, DemiVeemon was with her.

Upamon was with Cody.

"We're cheering for you!" Tomoya shouted, Dorimon was with him.

"Get 'em!" Yolei said, pulling Poromon's wings a bit.

"Good luck, Davis!" Tai said.

The bus soon arrived, there were girls there hoping to see Ken.

"I'll get to meet him..." Yolei said, blushing and squeezing Poromon a bit.

Cody, Upamon, Tomoya and Dorimon sweat drops at Yolei.

All of the students got out of the bus, and Ken was not there.
