Chapter Ten: Evil Spirals

Davis, Tomoya, Kari, TK and Natsu ran to the computer room. Tai, Izzy and Cody were already there.

"Sorry for making you wait!" Davis said, as they entered the room.

"You're late..." Tai said.

"Sorry, big brother..." Kari apologized.

"We came here as fast as we could." Tomoya said.

"Senior Tai, you have it all wrong." Davis said. "It's not Kari and Tomoya's fault, Okada and the guys started playing hockey with the brooms, so..."

"Yeah, and the teacher yelled at us too." TK said.

"Though some of us weren't really a part of it..." Natsu said.

"Who's this Okada?" Tai asked.

"Ah, he's part of the same cleaning crew..." Davis said. Tai's eyes twitched.

"It's okay, Davis." Kari said. "It was my fault too for not stopping them..."

"Yeah, it was my fault too." Tomoya said.

"But..." Davis said looking at the two.

"Really, it's okay." Kari said.

"Thanks." Tomoya said.

"Really?" Davis asked.

"By the way, where's Yolei?" TK asked.

"Is she here yet?" Natsu asked.

"Still not here..." Poromon said.

Izzy stood up from his seat. "Does she still have class?" He asked.

"Class ended a long time ago." Davis said. "She must be wasting time somewhere..." He said.

"Then go look for her!" Tai said.

"R-Right!" Davis said, running out.

"I'm going too!" Cody said, running out.

"Me too!" Tomoya said, running out.

The three went out of the room, and saw Yolei.

"Yolei..." Cody said.

"Sorry, I'm late." Yolei muttered and went into the room.

"Alright, so we're all here now." Izzy said.

"Then, I'm counting on you guys." Tai said.

"Come on, Yolei, the usual cheer!" Davis said. He noticed Yolei's down mood. "What's wrong?" He asked.

"Are you sick?" Poromon asked, flying next to her.

"It's not that..." Yolei said looking at Poromon.

"If you don't tell us, we won't know..." DemiVeemon said.

"Are you not feeling well?" Dorimon asked.

"You're not up to it, right?" Tai asked. "Then, it's better if you don't come with us." He said.

"Big brother..." Kari said, going over to her brother.

"Don't get me wrong..." Tai said, looking at Kari. He turned back to Yolei. "I'm not angry, I just don't want to put you guys in danger." He said. "Worst case, I was just thinking of going just with Kari." Kari nodded.

"It's fine, Yolei. We're not forcing you to come." TK said.

"If you're not up for it, it's okay to tell us." Natsu said.

"Right." Davis said.

"That's right, we go because we want to go." Cody said.

Yolei stepped forward. "Senior Izzy, I..." She said.
