Chapter Fourteen: Meeting a Former Enemy

Today the group of DigiDestined were in the Digital World. The group were searching for more Digimentals, after Davis and Tomoya had found theirs.

"I'm so hungry..." Veemon said, holding his stomach. He fell onto his bottom. "Any more chocolate?" He asked.

"Sorry, Veemon. But I'm afraid there are no more chocolate." Tomoya told the Digimon, crouching in front of him.

"Even so, I think we can all agree that we are getting pretty hungry." DORUmon said, standing next to Tomoya.

"Yeah, I'm hungry too." Davis said, holding his stomach.

"We should have brought more snacks." Yolei stated, both her fists on her hips.

"No more Chu-Chu jelly..." Armadillomon said, shaking the empty plastic bag, saddened.

"We can't fight on an empty stomach." Hawkmon said.

Natsu, Kudamon, Kari and Tailmon, all look at each other.
Tailmon shrugged, while Kudamon shook his head.
Kari and Natsu smiled at their Digi-Partners.

"So, should we go back?" Kari asked.

"I think, it might be time for us to head back." Natsu said.

"Yeah, let's do that." Davis said.

Veemon and Armadillomon nodded.

"We have no choice." Cody said.

"Guys!" TK called, catching everyone's attention. The group looked towards him. "There's a restaurant by the lake!" He said, pointing at a direction, while standing on the edge.

Everyone became excited at the news.

"A restaurant!?" Veemon said, jumping back up, excited.

"Great, dagyaa!" Armadillomon cheered.

"Now we can fight again!" Hawkmon cheered.

The DigiDestined were now at the restaurant, all have taken their seats, and sat with each other.

Davis and Veemon finished their food. "That was good!" They said.

Tomoya giggled, he was sitting at the same table as Davis and Veemon. "You two sure have an appetite." He said, smiling. "How is the food, DORUmon?" He asked, looking at his Digi-Partner.

DORUmon nodded, while chewing his food. "It's great!" He said.

Yolei, Hawkmon, Cody and Armadillomon were sitting at another table.

"I didn't think we could eat this well in the Digital World!" Yolei said.

"Same here." Cody said.

"TK, what's wrong?" Patamon asked. Yolei, Cody and Tomoya turned their attention to the table, where TK, Patamon, Natsu and Kudamon were sitting.

"It's been bugging me, it feels like I've been here before..." TK said, looking around.

"Same here." Natsu said, nodding. "This place feels familiar, but I don't know what..." He said.

"Now that you mention it, I can't help but feel, I've been here before." Kudamon said, he jumped onto Natsu's shoulder, and wrap himself around the human's neck resting there.

"Here? I don't remember..." Kari said, her and Tailmon were sitting at another table.

"Excuse me! Check, please!" Yolei called.
