Chapter Twenty-Four: New Friends?

A/N: I know this is supposed to be Chapter Twenty-Three, but I decided to follow the chapter titles according to the episodes. I skipped episode twenty-three, because it is centered around Ken.

[Digital World - Village]

Today, all of the DigiDestined were in the Digital World repairing a village.

Davis, XV-mon, Tomoya and DORUgamon were carrying some logs.
Yolei, Kari, Tomoda and Monodramon were repainting the buildings.
TK and Natsu were both hammering some nails into the wood.
Cody and Digmon were doing some digging.
Holsmon, Pegasmon, Siesamon and Nefertimon were carrying some logs.

Soon the sun begins to set in the Digital World.

The DigiDestined stood on a cliff looking at their progress.

"That's it for today." Davis said.

"We'll continue tomorrow." Yolei said.

"Of course we will." Tomoya said.

Kari looks at the village sadly. "There are still so many broken houses..."

"Yeah..." Tailmon said.

"Not just in this town. In other places, too..." TK said.
Natsu hummed and nodded.

Davis looks at the Dark Tower nearby. "That thing hurts the eyes... We should take it down." He said.

"I guess. But let's repair the town first." TK said.
"I agree." Cody said.
"It's better to repair it first, since they won't be working anymore." Tomoya said.

"Yeah... I guess." Davis said.

Kari looks up at the sky. "I wonder what he'll do now..." She trailed off.

Tailmon looks at her confused.

"You're talking about Ichijouji Ken-kun, right?" Tomoya asked.
Kari nodded.

"He should help too." Davis stated.
"Right!" V-mon said.

"But... He probably won't come to the Digital World anymore." Yolei said. She looks back at Hawkmon.
"Ture..." Hawkmon said.

"I don't think the Digimon would forgive him either." TK said.

"Exactly." Cody said, his eyes hardened.
"Cody?" Armadimon asked, he looks back at him.
"I can't forgive him for everything he did." Cody stated.

[School - Computer Room]

Soon, all of the DigiDestined returned to the Computer Room.

"I'm starving!" Both Davis and Chibimon both said.

"Ohagi! Ohagi!" Yolei cheered.

[Outside]

Now, everyone is outside of the school. The DigiDestined were holding their Digi-Partners in their arms.

"I'm sorry, I have to go to the dojo today." Cody apologized. Both Davis and Yolei were disappointed. "I have to leave now."

TK hums out an agreement.
"You got it!" Natsu said, giving a thumbs-up.
"Do your best at practice!" Kari said.
"See you tomorrow!" Tomoya said.
"We'll be cheering for you!" Tomoda said waving one of his hand, while the other supports Hopmon.

"Yes!" Cody said.

"But Cody's ohagi..." Both Davis and Yolei said.

"Come on now, you two." Tomoya said looking at them. "We should all get home and eat our dinners."
"Right!" Tomoda said.
