"Careful now, Padme." said Qui-Gon, helping Padme as they walked first into their new house.
With Anakin and Gabby out at battle, Qui-Gon and the rest of the family took on the job of helping Padme relax and be as comfortable as possible while her new baby was growing in her tummy.
Boba and Lamenta looked around at the inside of the palace. Despite that they'd stayed there previously, the palace felt new to them now that it would be their permanent home.
"I can't believe we're actually gonna be living here." Lamenta gasped.
"I know what you mean." Boba said.
"Everything should be moved in by now." Padme said. "Kids, why don't we go see your new rooms and unpack?"
"We'll take care of that, Padme." said Caroline. "You just relax."
"I'll come help you once I get Padme to her quarters." Qui-Gon promised.
While Qui-Gon helped Padme upstairs to her room, Carmine and Caroline helped the children. Carmine got the horses to their new stables, and Caroline got Boba and Lamenta to their rooms, where the servants were getting the decor out. Lamenta was very particular about where she wanted her glow-in-the-dark stars to be stuck, as well as her favorite glitter star mobile.
"Look, Lammy." Lamenta said. "This is our new room."
Lamenta was very happy to see that her new, bigger bed had already been made with her favorite constellation blankets, and some new star-shaped pillows her parents got her to make the bed homier.
Boba walked into his room and saw his guitar had already been safely placed by his bed. But, unlike Lamenta's room, a lot of his boxes were still left unopened.
Boba picked up a crowbar he found by one of the crates and began opening them himself. He found his clothes and toys in there, including his lion Fuzzy.
"I was worried I'd left you back at the penthouse or the Temple." Boba told his favorite plush.
Boba got to work sorting his clothes into the appropriate drawers, and arranging his toys on the shelf. Except... the top one was too high for him to reach, and the grownups were busy making sure everything else was moved in the right places. So, Boba had another idea.
Luckily, he had a chair and some other things he could use, which he arranged into a special course he used to parkour higher up and place a model starship of his on the top shelf and land swiftly on his feet on the floor.
"That's how it's done." Boba brushed off his hands proudly.
"Sorry I took so long, Boba, I-"
Caroline stopped when she looked into the room.
"Oh, your room is already done."
"Just used what I learned." Boba said.
"You did a wonderful job, Sweetie." Caroline smiled. "You really are a smart prince."
"Hey, Honey, we got packages!" Carmine called from downstairs.
"Boba, would you mind fetching your cousin?"
"Sure, Aunt Caroline."
The kids met the rest of the family, with the exception of Padme, who was resting in her and Anakin's new room. Carmine entered with a couple of serving droids carrying several gift baskets, wrapped boxes, and even a couple plants.
"It looks like the people of Naboo have sent us housewarming gifts." Carmine smiled, carrying a basket of treats sent for him.
"Is there something for me?" Lamenta asked, looking at all the stuff.
