Boba got to work using his water magic to dig through everyone's minds for as many happy memories as he could find from the Temple.
Members of the royal family and the Jedi all thought really hard to find memories they'd made at the Temple. Happy memories.
For Obi-Wan, these were some of his happiest memories:
-When he and Anakin experience rain together for the first time and had a splashing fight in the puddles.
-the day he became Qui-Gon's official Padawan
-when Gabby walked to him for the first time as a baby
-the time he and Peppermint planted Minty, their peppermint plant on the first anniversary of the day they became a family
-and of course, the day he proposed to Satine
Most of the other Jedi Council members' happiest memories at the Temple were the days they became official Padawans, were knighted, became masters. And they had even happier memories when Gabby, and Lamenta's family entered the picture.
Of course, Anakin's happiest Temple memories were most often made with his children, as well as with his twin and his father.
-all the times he taught his daughter to use the Force
-moments where he and his family and friends laughed together and played together.
Boba even dug deep into his own mind and found some of his greatest memories at the Temple.
-all the times he and Gabby played games together
-their first Halloween together and trying to pick costumes
-the day he met some of his friends at the Temple
-the time Gabby taught him to act like a prince
-the day he tried sugar for the first time and got a huge sugar rush
Each time Boba discovered another happy memory, he and Omega collected the energy from these happy memories and stored the power in a crystal ball.
"You really have a lot of great memories at the Temple." Omega commented.
"Even while under the Old Code," said Mace. "While we didn't admit it then, we had our share of valuable memories and fun times."
Meanwhile, Qui-Gon and Master Yoda looked through old maps of the Temple to help Gabby with the spell, and everyone else gathered any item that was special to them and that they had in the Temple.
They had this list of items:
- Obi-Wan and Peppermint's peppermint plant they rescued before they fled
- the swing from Gabby's favorite tree
-a set of Jedi robes Carmine customized when he first became a Jedi.
"I think it would help if we asked a few more friends to share what memories they made at the Temple." Gabby suggested.
Tech and Mila definitely had a super happy memory they made together at the Temple: Their very first date.
"That memory will live on forever in my heart." said Mila, holding her boyfriend's hands and looking into his eyes.
"It is one special day I will never forget." Tech smiled.
And the two of them kissed.
To everyone's surprise, the memory seemed to glow brighter when the couple was kissing.
"According to this book on memory magic," said Anakin, looking in one of Gabby's books. "There are three things that enhance the magic within a memory: emotions, repetition, and love."
"That would also explain why the same thing happened when Obi-Wan watched his memory of his proposal to Satine." Boba shrugged.
"Have you guys been doing well with more dates so far?" asked Carousella.
"It becomes easier with time." said Tech. "And asking a few other females for advice tends to inspire new ideas."
"On our last date, we took a hike through the Encanto's rainforest and went stargazing afterward." Mila said.
"Sounds romantic." Anakin said.
"If only more guys were smart enough to use such tactics to treat a lady with the respect she deserves." Caroline said. "It took Carmine a while to get the courage to ask me out."
"I was a foster kid from the lower levels who only got into that school on a scholarship when I was working as a cleaner." shrugged Carmine. "You came from a long line of great dancers. I didn't think I'd even have a chance of you even remembering I existed."
"You were unlike the rich and snobby music students who tried to woo me." Caroline said. "And you showed me a dreamy time when we eloped."
"And then we got to have the wedding of our dreams for our last anniversary."
Carmine and Caroline kissed, and that brought out some strong magic from their memory of their second wedding, which they'd had in the Temple courtyard.
"We've all made some great memories there." Gabby said. "And we've made some pretty nice memories here too."
"It has been rather crowded in the time we've been living here." said Obi-Wan. "I must confess, I've grown used to it here."
"I like living here too." Ahsoka said. "It's kinda cool having roommates and waking up to a pretty garden every morning."
"We've been making quite a few memories here." Master Fisto agreed.
The kids looked at the drawings they'd made. Gabby put them in a folder so she wouldn't lose them.
"Well, I'd better get started on gathering ingredients for this potion." said the princess, walking off to get started.
Suddenly, there were those who started to think they didn't want to return to the Temple just yet. The ones who were living in the other palaces and with Republic senators, however probably felt a little different. So, they had to rebuild it for their sake at least.
"Let me help you, Gabs." Mila said, following Gabby.
"If the Temple's rebuilt," said Pinto. "Does that mean we have to go too?"
Qui-Gon looked at Pinto and said, "Not if you don't wish too. The same goes for anyone else. You may continue to stay if you wish it. Those who choose to return to the Temple will be free to come back and visit."
"Hey," said Carousella. "No matter where we are, we'll still be a family. And we can always make memories together in any place."
