So, it's Halloween and I had no other ideas on what to wear. I just pulled out my Human!Mettaton cosplay and I kinda wanted to show it to you. It's been four years since I made this and some changes were made to the cosplay itself over time. Anyway, here is the jacket I use for the cosplay.
I just took fabric markers to a hot pink denim jacket I had back in 10th grade and doodled on it a little. I know this might look like it doesn't fit anymore but, I'm not tall or extremely chubby and I just leave it open when I wear it.
The cosplay involves more than a pink jacket. I paired it with a black top that has varied over the years and black leggings. No, I don't have any latex pants or tights. I used to have some tights but, I no longer like wearing them and I outgrew them anyway. The shoes I wear are not what you'd expect Mettaton to wear. They're just some metallic pink slip-ons with chunky soles because we didn't have enough for a flashy pair of pink stiletto boots in my size and I wasn't ready for heels. Seriously, my feet are kinda on the smaller side of average. I'm not kidding.
I used to wear mismatched knee-length socks in lavender and magenta to make up for the lack of stylish boots but, they eventually got holes and I threw them out. I often like using a small hair bow that clips in as a bowtie and I like having a microphone nearby because that just feels so in character for me despite being the opposite of Mettaton most of the time.
I also tend to do my hair and makeup like him to complete the look, which I might do today. If you wanna see the complete cosplay, let me know and I'll probs post it another time to show you what I use.
Left sleeve. The right sleeve doesn't have anything on it, sorry!
Here's the back of the jacket. I came up with a neat little logo. I might update this logo at some point.
Right front pocket.
Left front pocket.
Keep in mind this is an old jacket with old designs. The fabric markers may have faded and some might not show up very well and I apologize. I tried my best with what we had at the time.
