Hogwarts

'Now Draco, remember what I said you are to look after your sister. Do you hear me' My Mother tells Draco for the hundredth time this morning 'Yes Mother, I heard you the first time' Draco huffs while giving me a dirty look. 'Right then on you both go, we will see you later and remember be good' Father says as he pushes us to the door of the train 'umm, bye then' I say as I turn to hug my mother, she lets go quickly and I pick up my bag and start for the door as I turn to wait for Draco he's still hugging mother 'bye Draco, I'll see you soon okay, oh and I'll send an owl with some stuff you wanted ok' I hear her say to him 'brilliant' he says as he walks towards me, he shoulders his way past me with a massive grin on his face. We step on to the train and wave to our parents as the train departs 'now get lost, your not sitting with me or my friends' Draco spits at me as he stomps off down the train.

I stay there for a second before I start to walk the way Draco went looking into the carriages for one that was some what empty, after looking into a couple of door I find one that had just one person in, he was looking out of the window and hadn't noticed me standing there looking in 'come on y/n, get a grip, you need to speak to people to make friends' I say in my head and with that I slide the door open 'umm, hi, can I sit in here please' I ask. 'Why would you...' he starts to say as he turns his head to me but as our eyes meet he stops 'yeah if you want' he says like he had changed his mind on what he was going to say. I take a seat opposite him so I can look out of the window as we move 'so whats your name' he asks looking me up and down 'y/n, y/n Malfoy, you' I say 'Mattheo....... Mattheo Riddle' he tells me, he looks at my face to see my reaction to his name 'so your father is he who must not be named and your brother is tom' I ask 'yes, you don't seem bothered by that' he answers 'I'm not, your name doesn't define who you are, look who I'm related to, Dracos my twin' I reply shrugging my shoulder. 'I heard he had a twin but he never told anyone who you were' Mattheo says 'well why would he, if him and my father had their way I'd still be at home stuck in my room' I turn my head to look at him, he stands up and moves to the seat next to me 'At least your family don't expect you to follow in your brothers foot steps' he whispers to me 'oh trust me they do' I say back. Everything goes quiet apart from the sounds of the train going along the track, I adjust myself in my seat crossing my legs under me and I can feel my eyes getting heavy, before my eyes close I look out of the window and see it's getting dark out and then I fall asleep.

A little while later I wake up due to the fact I can't really get to comfortable, I open my eyes and see that there's a blanket over me then I feel something move by my head. I move my head to look up and see that I had at some point moved my head onto Mattheos shoulder and his head was resting on mine, I stay there still not wanting to wake him. I get a feeling that someone is looking at me, I look up again to see Mattheos brown eyes looking back at me 'sorry I didn't mean to lean on you' I say as I move to sit up right again 'don't apologise love' he replies to me making me blush so I turn to look outside so he doesn't see. I hear him say something and all the shutters close on the windows and door 'so we need to get changed into our uniforms we will be there in about an hour' Mattheo tells me, I stand and go in my bag and grab my uniform out and I start to head to the door 'hang on, I'll change this side facing the window and you change that side facing the door but no peeking' he says 'umm, okay but no peeking' I say smiling and he moves forward and holds out his pinkie finger 'I promise' he says and we cross pinkies. We both pull apart laughing and turn away from each other, I whisper a spell at the door to lock it and I start changing. Once we had done we both sit back down again and pull my wand out getting ready to unlock the door 'don't, just leave it for now, no doubt someone will come looking in here for me at some point' Mattheo says 'plus I'd like to spend more time getting to know you' he says looking at me 'okay, we'll what do you want to know' I ask 'well I know that your a Malfoy and you have a twin brother and that this is your first year at hogwarts so what else is there to know?' He questions 'well, I don't have any friends, I've never really spoke to many people outside of my family' I answer looking down at my hands that are playing with the hem of my jumper.

He goes silent for a moment 'so even when your brothers friends come round you don't see them or talk to them' he quizzes me 'no, I'm told to stay in my room by him or to keep out of the way, he doesn't want his friends to know that he has me as a twin and if he had his way it would stay like that' I quietly say. Mattheo must of read the emotion on my face seeing that it upset me and leans forward and takes my hands in his 'well you have a friend now, that is if you want me' he smiles, I smile back and nod my head 'good, let's go for a walk and get out of here the train will stop soon' he says as he grabs his bag and stands. I grab my bag and follow him out, we walk side by side in silence but it's nice to know he's right next to me, I finally have a friend, take that Draco. After walking for a couple of minutes I hear that annoying voice that belongs to Draco 'yes Pansy, well if she any sense she'll stay out of my way. Pissed is a understatement on how I'm feeling about it' I freeze and look down at my boots not really wanting to come face to face with Draco 'come on' Mattheo says as he grabs my arm pulling me forward. I hear a door side open 'so Malfoy I heard what you were saying about you having a sister, first I've heard about it' Draco freezes at Mattheos voice and slowly turns his head up to look at him 'so what' he spits back 'well, I think you should watch what you say, well we better be off now' he says in a venomous tone and as he closes at door he pulls me towards him and wraps an arm around my shoulder as we begin to walk.

'Don't listen to that ferret' Mattheo say 'why are you being nice to me' I ask him 'because you and I are one of the same, no one understands us, no one really wants us and we stand alone but now you don't have to be alone, okay?' He smiles at me, I smile back and nod my head at him 'soo ferret, you have to tell me the story behind that' I laugh and he tells me the story as we leave the train.
