Odd one out.

Day 3

The 3 days dragged by painfully slowly, we tried to carry on like normal, the days filled with lessons and the evenings me, theo and draco would meet up in the common room and go to the room of Requirements to check on the cabinet, I found random stuff in there and made a fort, we ended up sitting in there for 4 hours laughing and joking. Last night we stood there looking at it 'are you ready for this' draco asks me 'I think so' I say not really knowing how I felt about this. Tonight we are sitting in Theo's room waiting for 9pm until we have to be there it's 4.55 and we are all ready, draco nipped back to his room 'look before all of this goes down I want to say that I love you y/n, just remember that' Theo says as he kisses me 'Theo I love you too' I say and I take his hand as we leave the room we meet draco outside his door and we head to the tower. I look at my clock 8.55pm and as we head up the stairs I hear something at the top.

We sneak to the top draco is in front of me and Theo and Theo takes my hand, draco pulls his wand out and thats when I see Dumbledore turn around from the railing 'draco' he says 'you don't have to do this I can help you' there's a pause and draco moves foot to foot 'I knew a boy once who made all the wrong choices' he continues 'you don't understand if I don't do this he will kill me' draco says and he pulls his sleeve up revealing the dark mark on his arm, I hold my emotions and take a breath 'do it Draco' I say and draco turns his head a little to see me, I take a step forward and put my hand on his shoulder 'just do it, give it over and done with' I say. 'You heard her draco do it' I turn and see Bella standing at the top of the stairs with 5 people behind her, I turn around and see Snape step in front of draco and without missing a beat Snape casts the most unforgivable curse at Dumbledore, it hits him in the chest and he falls over the side of the tower. Bella cackles and throw her wand to the sky, the dark mark appears in the sky, I feel Theo grab my hand and I manage to grab onto draco as I'm pulled to follow, we make our way out of the castle and head into the forbidden forest 'HE TRUSTED YOUUU' I turn a little as I heard someone shouting and I see Harry following us 'just go, let Snape handle it' Theo says and the three of us follow Bella. We grab onto a port key and we land back at my house.

We go inside and my father tells us to head to my room and to stay there until someone comes to get us, we walk in and the three of us sit on my bed, draco looks pale like he's going to throw up and Theo is just sits there looking at the floor. 'You okay' theo says turning his head to me 'I..I don't know' I say my eyes fill with tears and draco turns his head to me as well. I can't get Dumbledores face out of my mind as he fell over the side of the tower, it's like he knew to be there and to wait there for whatever was coming maybe he thought he could change Dracos mind but it wasn't Dracos mind he needed to change it was snapes. Theo leans in to hug me and the tears slip out running down my cheeks, I feel draco move closer and he wraps his arms around me as well and puts his head onto my shoulder we stay like that for a moment before I feel theo push me to turn and I am now hugging Draco and I watch with blurry eyes as he goes to my bathroom and he bring a tissue box back with him he pulls some tissues out and hands them to me, I pull apart from Draco and wipe my eyes and I see that Draco was also crying 'sorry' I say and Draco smiles a little 'don't be. I think we all know what your feeling, the image will never leave my mind' Draco says 'it doesn't go but over time it will fade, you will move past it' Theo says 'you get numb to it after a while' he shrugs. I don't ask what he means but I have a feeling he knows this feeling all to well.

We sit there for 30 minutes before there's a knock at the door and my mother appears 'your needed downstairs loves' she says softly as she walks in but before we can move she's in front of us and she takes mine and Dracos hands into each one of hers 'Please remember I love you both' she says with a smile looking at both of us 'love you to mum' I say at the same time as Draco which makes us chuckle a little and with that she pulls away and straightens up 'right come on' she says and starts out of the door, I walk right behind her and behind me walking side by side is Theo and Draco, we walk into the diningroom and there at the top of the table is the dark lord, my mother heads to her seat and we stay at the end of the table me in the middle, theo to my left and Draco to my right 'it's done then' the dark lord asks 'yes but not by Draco' Bella answers 'well who then' the dark lord asks 'me' we hear from behind us and I turn my head to see Snape standing behind me 'I did it my lord, I did it before Draco had the chance' he finishes, I see Draco look at the floor worried. 'That wasn't your task was it Snape but as long as it's done I'm happy, you three have done a good job so far but right now I want to all to return to Hogwarts under your new headmaster' the dark lord as he points this hand towards Snape, we stand there  for a sec 'go then' Tom says and I look at him and I also can father next to him both of them giving us glares and I want to shrink into myself to get away from them, Theo takes my hand and pulls me to follow him and draco as they follow Snape out of my house and we stand in the garden 'grab on' Snape says as he puts his arms out and we all put a hand on his arm and we Apparate back to hogwarts, we arrive in the common room and Snape tells us to go to great hall as he walks out of the room.
