The golden trio

The week goes by pretty quick and I'm in the one lesson without Theo, it's divination and the teachers pretty weird I sit down at a table by myself and the room slowly starts to fill up with students, I see Draco walk in with Pansy and crabb as Theo had pointed them out to me and Draco gives me a disgusted look as he sits down at a table the other side of the room. I sit picking at my fingers when I hear the chairs next to me pull out and people sit in them 'hi' I hear and I look up 'you must be y/n Malfoy' the girl saying, she has long bushy brown hair 'I'm Hermione granger and this is Ronald Weasley but we call him Ron and this is Harry potter' she says 'hi' I say smiling to them and then the lesson starts we sit in our group and start to work in pairs, Hermione is with Ron and I'm paired with Harry 'so you know Mattheo then' Harry asks 'yeah he's my friend' I say smiling 'you should be careful around him, his family are bad people y/n' he warns me 'look im a malfoy for one so my family aren't the best people, 2 Theo is my first and only friend I have and 3 your family name doesn't define who you are' I snap at him and took back at the tea cup I'm trying to read 'sorry I didn't mean to over step, I've seen you around the castle and you don't seem like a bad person I just wanted to warn you' Harry says as he does a friendly smile to me 'I don't want trouble I just don't people judging me or Theo for that, he's nothing like his family trust me' I say and Harry nods and helps me read the tea cup. That lessons ends and I head to the next which is dada, while I'm waiting for Theo I see Draco walking up to me 'I'd watch who you are talking to there sis, pottah isn't the type of person we Slytherins associate with so stay clear right' draco spits at me 'I'll talk to who I like' I reply back 'oh really, don't think mother or father will see it like that when I tell them' he says stepping closer getting in my face 'tell them what you want, I couldn't really care what you repeat to them, they couldn't give a damn about me so why waste your breath' I tell him as i close the small gap between us getting right in his face 'why you little ungrateful...' draco doesn't get to finish his sentence as I see him fly across the floor on his side 'I told you to keep away from her and you can't help yourself, back off Draco' Theo says as he stands next to me 'I don't care if she's your sister you don't care for her so leave her alone or next time I'd do worse than pushing you over. That is a promise' Theo says to him and he takes my hand and leads me into the class to our desks 'why are you giggling' Theo asks he's clearly fuming 'because I've never seen someone put Draco on his arse' I giggle 'I had it under control you know' I say 'well all I saw was him in your face and that was enough for me to get involved' he says and we get our books out.

Mattheos pov
I turn the corner to the dada class and I see y/n and Draco pretty much nose to nose and I can hear him 'why you little ungreatful..' I saw red he's not getting away with it any more I've had it with him, I've heard what he's being saying about her behind her back, I have people who are my eyes and ears in this place and I've had it. So I shoved him to the ground where he belongs after I say my bit I grab y/n and pull her with me, she's giggling so I ask why and she tells me she's never seen Draco put on his arse before, I smile a little knowing I've made her happy, we start the lesson but I can't Concentrate as I keep sneaking little looks at her, I think I like her like her but it's properly a little soon to tell her that. I must be staring at her as she turns her head round to look at me, I smile at her and look back at my book, Draco came in and sat down next her it he hasn't moved or moved his head up from his book.
Once we finish the lesson we walk out to the great hall 'you want to know what we were talking about before you got involved Riddle' draco calls from behind me 'I couldn't give a fuck' I call back still walking 'shes only gone and made friends with pottah and his lot' he shouts, I stop dead and turn around with my fists clenched 'I don't care who she makes friend with or talks to but if it bothers you so much you could of took her under your wing and helped her instead of pushing her away, dick' I say as turn away from him. Good for her she's making more friends that's a good thing. I see her stood there next to me looking at the floor so I grab her arm and pull her along. She's quiet is she embarrassed or something 'well I think it's nice your making friends with other people' I say smiling to her  as if on cue I see potter and his friends walking past us, he turns his head to us so I nod my head 'potter' I say, he says hi as he walks away of us. We head for dinner and once we are back in her room I notice she's still silent 'you okay' I ask 'yeah' she answer so quiet I barely hear her. She goes into the bathroom to shower. I remember how l was when Tom used to talk down to me and tell father everything I did, the worst one was when I was told off by Tom for being in his room and as a lesson he crucioed me until I stopped crying, his lesson was to never show pain and that riddles don't cry.

Y/n pov
I step out of the shower and I see I've forgotten my clothes so I dry off and put on my dressing gown and walk out to get my clothes 'Theo are you okay' I ask as I get my clothes noticing he's zoned out, he doesn't reply so I carefully kneel down in front of him and I notice his eyes have tears in them so I move my hand to his face and cup his cheek 'hey Theo' I say softly and he blinks at me, he sniffs and wipes his eyes 'you okay' he asks me while trying to smile 'yeah I'm okay are you' I ask 'I'm fine' he says a bit quickly 'are you sure, you looked upset' I say. As I go to stand and he grabs my hand pulling me to sit next to him 'I was just remembering about when I was younger and how Tom treated me I'm fine really' he says 'oh' I said and I quickly get up and grab my clothes to get changed. I walk back into the bedroom and sit down next to Theo 'you know whatever you tell me will stay between us if you want to talk right?' I say to him 'well, I was remembering when I was younger and I had gone into toms room, I can't even remember what I was doing in there but when he court me in there he went nuts and to punish me he crucioed me and I cried because the pain was so bad and to teach me a lesson he kept doing it until I stopped crying telling me that Riddles don't cry and that to show pain was weak of me' he stops and looks at me, I have tears in my eyes and he takes my hands in his 'when my father found out he praised Tom and berated me for being weak telling me that I need to toughen up and that the world didn't have a place for the weak, now I know that he was talking about his world, his dark and twisted world' he finishes and I lean forward to hug him 'I'm so sorry' I say 'why you didn't do it' Theo chuckles and he pulls away and wipes my cheeks of my tears that had escaped. 'You saw my scars didn't you' he says 'no I don't think so' I say because I hadn't. Theo stands up and unbuttons his white shirt and then turns his back to me as he pulls the shirt off, I stand and walk behind him, I didn't know where to look his back had a lot of scars, I move my hand to trace one and as I touch it he spins around and grabs my hand, I look up to his face and Then I look down at his chest and see more, he lets go of my hand and I move it to the one right over where his heart is and my finger tips gently touch it. I look up at his face and see that he's watching me and in that moment I knew that we could have something, I've never had someone open up to me especially with something so raw and sad that had happened to them, I slowly move my hand to his head and I pull him to me, I kiss him and I feel him kissing me back we stay there in the middle of my room for a bit until he bends down abit and lifts me up and my legs wrap around him and he walks me to the wall and holds me there after a while until we pull apart 'you... there's something about you, I've never opened up to anyone but you, you pull my walls down and I know it's quick but your my person y/n' he breathes at me, I smile at him 'your my person Theo' I say back to him.

He lowers me to the floor 'can I stay with you tonight' I ask him, I felt this need that I needed to be with him 'yeah, grab your stuff' he says, I grab my stuff and we head to his room. I drop my bag onto his desk chair 'fancy a walk' he asks and I agree as we leave we walk through the common room and I see Draco sitting on the sofa 'bitch' I hear him say and I snap, I turn around and walk up to him 'what's your problem' I ask him 'you....' He tried to answer but I cut him off 'I don't see what I've done so wrong to you I really don't, I remember as kids I stood up for you and covered your arse so you didn't get punished and once you were out of the way I took your punishments, you didn't try to help me out of trouble when you heard me crying and getting punished did you, our Father couldn't see the real you but I can, I fucking see you Draco' I say and I turn on my heel and head to the door with Theo right behind me and in the first time ever I didn't hear Draco talk back.

'What was that, I've never seen you stand up to him like that before' Theo asks 'I'm just sick of his shit, I don't know when I'm with you I feel like I can say it as it is and I can finally breath' I say as I look at him, we head to our tower and sit on the floor looking out at the stars, Theo pulls his cigarettes out 'can I have one' I ask and Theo hands me his lit on and I take drag on it without coughing after a couple of drags Theo lights his own up and I lean back onto his shoulder 'how about after these we go back' Theo says 'okay' I say and we sit in a comfortable silence until we finish smoking and as I go to stand up I go light headed and Theo catches me so I don't fall 'hang on' he says and he turns around and gets me to jump on his back and he carries me back to the common room 'that will be the cigarette making you light headed love it happens if you don't smoke' he laughs as we walk in the door, as we walk through the common room I hear someone say my name so Theo spins us around and I see Draco standing there 'what' I say as Theo puts me down 'look, if you stay out of my way I'll stay out of yours' he says as he steps walks in front of me 'how's that gonna work Draco' I say 'have you been smoking you stink' he asks pulling a disgusted face at me 'that would be me Malfoy' Theo cuts in 'I'm going to bed' I say and I pull Theo's arm to get him to follow me 'that's not the way to your room now is it' Draco says 'oh go suck it' I say as I flip him off as I walk away with Theo smiling behind me.
