Dess look up from her phone at Freya who was standing in front of her. She didn't realize her best friend was holding a conversation with her for the last five minutes. She hadn't heard one word that came out of Freya's mouth since she was texting Shai.
"Girl, were you even listening?" Freya questioned, placing her free hand on her hip. Dess gave her a small smile, Freya rolled her eyes.
"I'm sorry," Dess apologized. Before Freya could respond back, Dess attention landed back on her phone once it vibrated. Shai had texted her back and she wasted no time replying.
"Umm, am I not here or something?" Freya questioned, watching as Dess thumbs rapidly typed.
