I could feel the warmth of the sun on my skin. My arms stretched out before me as I opened my eyes to a clear blue sky. It was raining so hard the day before. I can't believe it's now sunny without a cloud in the sky.

"Sleep a little more." Yohan wrapped his arms around me.

I didn't respond with a single word. I merely buried my face into his chest and closed my eyes. I guess I could sleep in a little. We were pretty active the night before.

"I'll compensate So-hee later."

"What?" I abruptly sat up. "You'll what?"

Yohan rolled onto his back and rubbed his eyes.

"I told you, you can't keep financially compensating her! At some point, she's going to feel guilty and think of it as if she owes you a debt!"

Yohan opened his eyes before sitting up.

"I'm going to wash up and go see her. I can't believe I slept in like this!"

Yohan took my chin between his fingers before kissing me. "You shouldn't tempt me so early in the morning."

"What are you talking about?" I groaned.

"Your hair is a complete mess. How could I not be turned on by that?"

"Yohan, seriously!" I pushed him back before gathering my clothes off the floor.

"How about a quickie before you go?" he ran his hand up my thigh before kissing the back of my shoulder.

"No." I turned to him. "You don't even know the definition of a quickie. Besides, we went three rounds last night. That should be more than enough for a while."

Yohan looked up. "You know, I can try my hardest to keep my hands off of you. But you're just so tempting."

I stood up before holding my clothes to my chest. "If you try and hold me back from working with So-hee, I'll send a letter to Eunsoo."

Yohan's eyes widened.

"I'll send it secretly so that she scolds you."

Yohan pursed his lips. "Fine. I won't touch you."

"Good." I rubbed his head before walking to the wooden bath. After freshening up, we left the temple, gave each other a kiss, and went our separate ways. I ran to the farm only to see So-hee sitting on the porch just outside of her front door.

"Zurine!" she happily waved.

"I'm so sorry!" I slowed to a light jog. "I didn't mean to be late."

"No, it's okay." she gestured to the field. "The ground is too soft and mushy. I'm afraid it won't be easy to harvest any of the crops today. I already fed the chickens. So there isn't much to do for the day."

"...Oh..." I looked out to the field to see the soil was dark and muddy. I guess with our shoes it would be difficult for us to walk on the ground and pick the vegetables.

"But, I did pick all of this garlic before the rain started yesterday." she pointed over her shoulder to the large baskets of garlic. "How about we peal them so we can sell them?"

I happily agreed before stepping inside. Sun-hee was happy to see me. She was happy to see me and kept asking where Yohan was. I told her that the "prince" had to go back to the palace and help the city. Sun-hee helped us toss the unwanted parts of the garlic. It was easy to keep her occupied.

"How are things going between you and the emperor?" So-hee asked.

"Things are getting better..." I said. "But...there are still some things that I need to tell him."
