Chapter 7: Grassy Plains

On a grassy plain that spread for miles long near the forest, the rest of the Teoran teenagers were taking a stroll, chit-chatting about Jack and the autobots.

"But don't you think they look cool together, vampires and autobots?" says Agni.

"I agree. Young Master Jack seems so kind and forgiving," replies Lanney. She remembered the pat Jack had given her, and was still blushing about it. However she wasn't the only one who thought of him, for Marlow started giving her own thoughts.

"He is a special one. Strong-minded, kind, and even a little dreamy..."

Marlow's mind drifts off into space without realizing it, and Deva notices. She gave the largest grin of the whole group. She lays an arm on Marlow's shoulder and raises an eyebrow.

"Sounds like someone's hooked to know more about the fabulous Jack Darby."

But before Marlow could come back to her senses and complain, the gang heard honking noises, and turned to see a blue motorbike, with two young boys their age riding on it.

"It seems our two guardian knights have returned with their female robot friend."

Immediately, Ami, who hasn't said anything much, turned her full attention towards the rider on the back with white hair, her headband cat ears suddenly perking up in excitement. But soon Marlow was to join her, having her eyes on Jack, and so did Agni, who had recently talked about wanting a chance to ride Jack's sexy ride.

As the bike slows to a halt and the young guards hop off from the vehicle, they are met with what almost felt like a welcoming party. Most of the group went over to Jack to see how he was doing, and greeted Arcee as she transformed into her humanoid form. Meanwhile, Ami instantly hugged Geo, who smiled and hugged her back. She was probably happy to see that he and Jack both stayed alive. Then Jack spoke up,

"Sorry if we're a little late to the party. We got caught up by some robots and this lady named Luna-"

Upon hearing the name, they all exclaimed in unison,

"You met Luna?!"

They turned to Geo, who nodded.

Agni then began to interrogate Jack.

"Tell me, did she do anything to either of you guys?"

Shaking his head, Jack replies,

"Nope. Well, she did send some large robots, which I all cut down. Man, I never felt more energetic before."

Suddenly, Geo gestured to the rest of the group, who all gave their attention. He then pressed a button on the side of his visor, and suddenly, a rectangular video screen hologram projected from the entire front side of his visor as it turned white.

"Ooh, is that one of the new upgrades that you got, Geo?" Asks Agni.

Geo nods, and soon, a recording plays in front of them. It was a replay of Jack's entire showdown, with recorded audio as well, starting from the takedown of the first robot, then meeting Luna and punching her, then taking down more robots, and then Luna's "interesting" farewell. However, luckily for Geo, it was all recorded from his distant viewpoint, in which they could barely hear out what Luna said in precise detail when talking to Jack, although one could make out the general details. Geo also skipped the parts in the recordings where she mentions him and Jack as humans, in order to protect his and Jack's unknown identities, although the skipping of parts didn't really bother the rest of the friend group too much, as they probably didn't notice.

Once the recording finished, the hologram faded away, and all eyes were set on Jack. The reactions were mixed. Deva, Lanney, Savien, and Ami had faces of oblivion after seeing the last bit of the footage. Agni's jaw was drooping. Marlow's face had darkened into an ominous shadow.
