In the grand Teoran halls of the palace of Den City, a queen stands in front of an open space, waiting. Her eyes hidden in the shadows of her front hair under the noon sunlight high above, she patiently waits, until it is rewarded with the noise of quick-pacing footsteps, and soon a young woman much younger than her comes running down the hallway. She had long pink hair and her usual white dress outfit, as well as her cat-ear style headbands. She ran due to the urgency expressed from her mother's message to arrive.
Upon sight of her daughter, Gwain makes a calm huff and turns towards her. Ami walked to her and inquired with a solemn face of curiosity. Gwain looks her straight in the eye and says,
"You know the deal here, Ami."
Ami raises her eyebrows at her, not sure of what her mother meant, but that changes when she clarifies,
"Your... affiliation with the deranged one. I know what you both did back there in your little hideout."
Upon realization, she immediately turns so red that one might assume she got sunburned and starts frantically making arms waves of denial. Gwain ignores the gesture though and looks at her again. This time she got closer, making Ami suddenly freeze. The royal mother asks,
"I know I'm starting to have my share of slight sympathy for these humans, but tell me..."
Her voice grows more menacing,
"What do you see in him? What makes that kid so special to you?"
Ami, at first being slightly startled by the words, now takes a moment to think of a response. Then, an idea comes into mind. It's not the best idea, but Ami knows it'll be effective. She looks directly into her mother's eyes, who raises an eyebrow back at her.
Then suddenly, the Queen's eyes widen in surprise as her mind gets teleported to another reality. To the snowy dark street in Gwain city, as she witnesses the nightmare of Geo. Her mind watches as she witnesses the tears, last breaths, and voices that all happened in Geo's mind. And it all replayed within 2 seconds.
And when those two seconds finished, Gwain snaps back to reality and begins to stumble. She helplessly looks at Ami, who puts her head down and softly mutters,
"That... was what Geo... saw in his dreams during his duty..."
But right now Gwain did not focus on what Ami was saying. Instead, her eyes were on the ground, her legs trembling. All the insults then started replaying in her head. Every insult she ever threw at Geo. All while the image of his dying body taking his last breath. Gwain then finally comes to the realization that the position she put Geo in is a death trap, no matter what choices he'll make. If he chooses to reveal himself, he'll be executed by either the entirety of the kingdom or by her own ability. If Geo chooses to go on as things always have been, then he would slowly wear down, despite all of his training, and Luna would eventually find a way to pierce through his seemingly strong body and eliminate him.
Just as the haunting thoughts continue, both ladies then turn around to hear slower, but louder footsteps heading their way. They look to see a young man about Ami's age, possibly a little older. He has hair whiter than a pearl, and his eyes are covered in a black techno visor. His expression is neutral, but upon seeing the queen, it grows dull.
Geo walks up to Ami, and both smile and give each other a simple warm hug. The normal reaction that Gwain would have for this kind of thing would be of disgust (and maybe punch Geo because why not), but that all has changed. Because what Gwain sees instead is a helpless wounded man with barely any hope left in his eyes. She tries to remove the sight from her mind. But as she does so, a loud voice shouts out,
