In the near evening under the bright sunlight of the sun on a nice day, a young man with white hair watches the view from the rooftop of a tall watchtower. He sits, relaxed, with a pencil in his hand, when he realizes he needs to take his sketchbook in order to draw. And so, he pulls out his backpack from behind him.

But as Geo searches through the backpack, he finds something that caught the corner of his eye. A small book in the far side of the back section of his backpack. He pulls it out of the tight space, and takes a good look at it. It's a simple, plain storybook with a blue hard cover and golden letters, in a near-cursive font, on the front and the side that read,

"The Steadfast Tin Soldier"

Upon reading it, Geo finally remembers what this book was about. It is of a tale that he loved in his early childhood, though he does not remember much of his past in general. The original creator of the story was the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. But some people made a longer version of the story by giving it more details of the basic events, and Geo remembered getting it from somewhere and just stashing it into his backpack almost a year or two ago, just before landing in Teora. He decides to open the book and start reading it. He still remembers the plot, but he figured that a nostalgic refresher of human story time would be nice.

---------

Once upon a time, in the house of a simple family containing a mother, father, and son, there was a collection of toys scattered around the living room, particularly on the living room table. And among that said pile of toys on the table was a set of soldiers. Tin soldiers, decorated in blue-themed Victorian Era uniforms, standing mighty and tall.

And every night, when the family is asleep, or when they leave the house during the day, all the toys would come alive, as per the special wonders of this God-given World. And among these toys, the soldiers were no exception. They were highly regarded by some with amaze, and by others, with jealousy for their pride. Bayoneted muskets firmly in their arms, and sabers of honor on their belts, they proudly took in the natural-born glory of being the grand soldiers.

Yet there is one soldier who always stood out from the rest. Not because he wore a different uniform, nor because he didn't follow conduct. But due to the fact that, as the youngest, when he was manufactured, there wasn't enough metal tin to complete the whole soldier, and so he came out with just one leg. All the other toys, unlike the rest of the squad, ignored him. No one paid attention to him, almost if he didn't exist. As for the young soldier himself, due to his loneliness both in and outside his company of soldiers, he never felt too social amongst anyone, yet he doesn't agree with himself over this lifestyle, for it makes him feel somewhat... insignificant in this world of possibilities. That was until he was found by an unexpected friend.

One day, the toys decided to have a party, to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the community. And as usual, as part of the celebration, the soldiers of the Tin Company, separated into their platoons, hosted a marching parade. And of all the soldiers, a few from each platoon were chosen by the leaders to not participate and instead take guard around the area. The young soldier, of course, was designated to be out of the parade, because his one leg would not help in the parade march at all. Disappointed in himself, he silently marches off into the far corners of the toy room, but it wasn't long until he came across something. As he stepped down from the large table of toys, down the sofa, and into the far ends of the living room, he began to see a large... structure. Gleaming with a beautiful pearlish-blue color. Curious as he was, he steps closer and closer, until he starts to hear a humming tune. At first his nerves froze in fear of the house owners being here, but he then realized that the voice was coming from that strange place.
