Chapter 14: A New Deal

As Luna creeps in closer to the source of the noise and chatter, her feared suspicions begin to creep up her spine as well. She knows well at this point that there are only one kind of people that crash land at a place and not knowing where they are and not recognize the land around them. Or no, two kinds. One organic, the other mechanic.

As she draws in closer to the accented chatter, hiding behind trees, she is able to distinguish that they were two men. She listens in as one man exclaims with a slightly accented yet slightly deep voice,

"Alright, I believe you Hot-Rod, but first we must figure this place and-"

The second voice, "Hot-Rod", interrupted with his robot-like metallic voice that also has a unique accent,

"James, you've... changed."

"What?"

"Your eyes... they're red"

"The bloody hell are you talking about? I'm not crying."

"And your hair is now a very light blue..."

Luna then hears the sound of what sounds like a giant kneeling, followed by an exclamation,

"What the F**k-!?"

"I have no idea... Hey you know what, let's ask some of the locals here. Plus, keep your composure, please."

The man sighs.

"...You think there will be people here in a land where your appearance change and where-"

The man lays silent for a second.

"Where I'm overweight...?"

Luna looks over to see the man and giant robot. A type of robot she was all too familiar with. Quietly grumbling to herself, she continues watching.

The man, James, has a statuesque yet built appearance and seemed somewhat young for his height, and he's looking down at the ground upon the little crater of a footprint that he made due to his new weight. He wears a black suit, black pants, and a white shirt with a black bowtie. On his waist seems to be a black belt filled with a bunch of unknown tools. He sports sky blue hair with streaks of white that is perfectly cut and combed, as if he were a butler, and the pupils in his eyes are red. Eyes of a type of species that can only tell one thing for Luna: He is a new human.

As for the bot, Hot Rod, he has a quite unique complex. His shoulders are covered by wheels that would be for his vehicle mode, while his upper torso comprises mainly of a forward-facing sports car bonnet, while his thinner lower torso seems to primarily be just pure machinery. His eyes have glowing blue rings, and his arms and legs sport plating, giving him a somewhat buff appearance, and his color palette consists of mainly black with bits of orange. Instead of a regular plain face, he has what seems like an orange mask that stretches around his jaw till it nearly reaches his mouth. On his chest, at the front of the bonnet, is the Autobot symbol.

Luna, not wanting to miss a chance to take down the easier threat, that being the human, decides to wait for some time to get the proper chance to strike, preferably when the Autobot is distracted. She needs to move silently.

Meanwhile, Hot Rod and James continue talking, as the man starts discovering his strength by "lightly" pushing a tree, causing it to fall, then discovering his speed by taking "light" jogs that kept him going at around a solid 80 miles per hour. He runs in circles until he comes back to Hot Rod and tells him,

"I'll look around to see if there's anyone around to ask."

"Do you have your radio with you?"

James taps his walkie talkie.
