Qaphelani
Alot can happen in just 2 years, I'm turning 30 soon with no kids and a wife, I decided to move from Durban North to Lalucia, it's a peace of mind living alone. Today I'm meeting up with Yolanda (my girlfriend), we've been together for about 3 years now and I'm definitely inlove, sometimes it's really scary to even say it because of the things I've been through.

I wanted us to go to a restaurant but she said it's too cold so she'll come to my place, I was never a romantic person thanks to Mvelo for advising me to buy flowers and a a gift, she'll order whatever she wants when she gets here, I stand by my window with a cup of coffee and I see her car on the driveway I put my coffee on the side of the bed, I go downstairs with flowers and a gift, I kneel in front of the door

she opens the door , pushing it with her back, closing the umbrella "baby! haibo it's raining cats and dogs outside"

I crack a smile and I wait silently for her to turn around, I can't even explain how beautiful she is, she's light skinned, tall and you can't miss the leg game. she turns around and her face changes now I'm not sure if she's happy or disappointed

"sthandwa sami, ngivumele ngihambise izinkomo kwa Nkosi"

I didn't practice , I thought it was going to be easy but now I'm nervous she's staring at me, she takes out her phone and yep! She's taking a video, I knew that might happen

"yesss yess Hlase!"

Phewwww

I slide the ring to her finger and she gives me hug, jumping up and down like a little girl

"so this is why, you've been shady this week?" she laughs

"I've been shady come on MaNkosi" laughing

We kiss, her lips are addictive

"ngiyakuthanda yezwa" Me

"I love you too" Yolanda

She gives me a hug again, I'm really happy, happy that she didn't disappoint me also

"okay, you can order anything you like when you're hungry"

"no it's okay sthandwa sami I'll cook" Yolanda

"are you sure?"

"yes, I want to take pictures first" Yolanda

"as long as you won't ask me to take pictures of you it's okay"

(laughing) "come on baby, okay just one picture"

"ay sthandwa sami"

"pretty please" Yolanda

I drag myself to the kitchen

I won't lie, I enjoy her company, she can make me take thousand pictures if she wants, few minutes later my phone rings

"Khetha" Me

"Mah is saying I need to marry Thingo, where do I even start? "

This is not the conversation I want to have right now, my father was supposed to tell everyone the truth, this thing was going to be sorted but now everything is a mess, Mvelo kept on saying "ngiwu myeni wakho" he didn't even know that my grandfather's father was the one speaking to Thingo through him and Thingo would react with whistles because her father's grandmother was speaking through her, no one payed attention, I couldn't say anything it wasn't my space to say anything.

"mfwethu calm down everything is going to be fine, did they tell you why you have to?"

"something to do with Nomkhitha" Khetha

"just call Thingo and speak to her about it I'm sure she'll understand"

"I don't know if I can do that"

"you can, come on!"

"this is alot, how's Mvelo doing?" Khetha

"he's doing well, apparently there's a girl who fell pregnant I'm not even entertaining this"

"I actually saw the girl, she said she's zizipho I must tell Mvelo that he must call her" Khetha

"amantombazane angenasimilo, let me go my fiance is giving me looks here"

"your what?! you don't say, congratulations Bafo" Khetha

"thanks chief, let me call uMah so I can let her know"

"cool, thank you bro" Khetha

"everything will be fine Hlase"
