Tilting my head back, I swallowed the final drops of my drink, licking the side of my lips the blaring sound of music drowned out my worried thoughts.
I heard the bar chair next to me squeak, causing eyes to turn slightly, I watched as a man sat next to me, his silver chair clanked against the chair.
"What's a pretty girl like you sitting alone at the bar?" His voice chimed through his smile.
"Is that really your pick up line?" I laughed, my finger rimmed the edge of the glass. Turning my head towards him I felt my eyes grow wide.
He flashed a smile towards me, pulling his chair closer I felt my chest hiccup with air. His long brown hair draped over his shoulders, through the dim light I caught a glimpse of his brown eyes.
"Did it work?" He asked softly.
"I'll do a rum and coke, and whatever the lady is having." He said reaching his hand into his pocket. I watched as he pulled out his wallet, pulling out a card he slid it across the bar towards Ellie.
"I'll do another lemon drop." I answered. "Classy."
"You want a tab?" Ellie asked. "Yeah let's get one started." He answered back to her, focusing his attention back at me I felt myself shutter anticipation.
A/N:
Ahhhh!!!! I'm so excited to start this story. I feel like I haven't seen many stories of modern day Eddie. This story will contain a lot more mature content, langue etc.
