My phone buzzed under my pillow, pulling me from my deep sleep I barely got one eye open. Answering the phone I put it on speaker.

"Hello?" I answered.
"Good morning sweet heart." A deep voice sent me body into shock.

"Eddie?" I asked.
"The one and only."

"How did you get my number?" I asked stretching my body out.
"You put it in my phone last night." He laughed softly.
I don't remember that....

"Did you just wake up?" He asked.
"Yeah."

"I was wondering if you wanted to grab coffee with me before I go to work..." His response seemed more like a question, trailing off slowly I woke up.
"Um-Uh. Yeah." I managed to stutter out.

"Can you be ready in ten minutes?" He asked casually.
"Sure." I said shooting my body out of bed.

"Okay, see you soon." I envisioned his soft smile, causing a warm feeling to spread across my chest. I hung up the phone. Tucking my lower lip into my teeth I looked at the time.
8:01am

I ran towards my bathroom, putting toothpaste on my toothbrush I shoved it in my mouth, aggressively brushing my teeth I looked over at my self in the mirror. My hair was a mess, thank goodness I had a haircut scheduled for later.

I wanted the change, I needed the change. Billy had consumed my life down to my appearance. Never letting me live out in my own style I knew I was ready for this big change. I had felt good, I wouldn't claim Eddie as my distraction but he was definitely helping taking my mind off Billy.

Throwing my hair into a bun I felt tension sit on the top of my head, usually in the mornings I need some time but collect myself, I felt my headache start to grow but I unfortunately had no time to deal with it.

Once I finished brushing my teeth I looked over at my closet, grabbing a pair of black sweat pants I threw them on. I found whatever sweater I could find first. Surprisingly it matched, I threw on my oversized black sweater and slipped on my white crocs.

"Shit-Oh well." I mumbled towards myself.

I looked down at my phone. My heart sank at the sight of Eddie's text message.
Eddie: Here, take your time.

"I'm leaving-"
"Where are you going?" Sara asked.
"Eddie's taking me out for coffee." I answered quickly.

"And you're wearing that?" She asked looking down my outfit.
"I didn't have time- I gotta go, I'll be back later." I said quickly shutting her door.

Running out of my house the gush of cold air smacked me in the face, fumbling to lock the door I felt my anxiety rise in my body. I didn't want him to be upset that he had to wait, I knew he had to work today.

I ran quickly up to his car, sitting in the passenger seat he looked at me smiling. I looked over quickly, pulling down the mirror I adjusted my septum piercing.
