Pirates and love

Chapter 1

'I wish to join your crew' I announced, making my way to the deck. The moment they all heard it, they laughed racuously. One of them came forward and asked.

'What do you think you got what it takes GIRLY?!' He sneered.

'If my brother is allowed to join, then I don't think it's much of a problem if I do too. Since we're both our parent's children.' I said proudly, glaring at Will. That bastard promised to get Barbossa to recruit me but nooo, he snuck off on his own and planned to leave me behind. Will shifted uncomformtably.

'Allegra, go home. Girls shouldn't go out to sea.' Will chided. I glared at him some more.

'I doubt Mother will be pleased if she heard that. She'd tell you women can do anything a man can' I retorted.

'This is different. Mum's with Dad on the Flying Dutchman now. They've been missing for like a year now. I need to find them.'

'So do I!'

'Alright. If you want to join, you've got to prove yourself.' Barbossa announced.

'How?' I asked.

'Fight..' he turned to his crew and pointed at a boy with dirt on his face.

'Cabin boy, c'mere.' The boy shifted forward. I rolled my eyes.

'Oh, this would be a challenge.' I said, unsheathing my sword. He looked up at me.

'I don't fight girls.' He declared.

'Good. Then this will be easy.' I hissed.

I lunged my sword in his direction. He used his to shield himself. Sparks flashed as we fought fiercely. He was able to block my attacks. He cornered me, circled my sword and caused it to fly across to deck.

'Done so soon?' He asked, grinning. I pulled down his hat and elbowed him in the stomach, causing him to stumble before climbing on top of the barrels and ran to my sword.

'We're not done yet, Cabin Boy.' I answered, smirking.

My sword clashed with his again and both of us were pretty much fighting to kill. Finally, I stooped down, used my leg and tripped him and he fell to the ground with a thud. I placed my foot on his chest, panting. I couldn't help but stare at his eyes. It was a bright green, piercing, like it was looking its way to my soul.

I'd be lying to myself if I didn't say he was cute.

'Nicely done, girly!' The sailor announced in approval. The others roared in agreement. I pulled the boy up and gave him back his sword.

'Congragulations and welcome to the crew.' Barbossa announced. Will groaned.

I grinned. This was gonna be exciting.
