NO LUCK WITH LOVE

A few days later, I decided that I wanted to speak to him over chat. I prepared myself, I actually asked him quite an embarrassing question.

It was true tho, his skin tone was so pale. It's quite a weird question to ask but who cares, I had nothing else to say!

Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks passed but still no answer, no seen too. Looks like my message is in the message request thing, nobody checks those stuff so he probably would never see my chat. But I didn't mind, I still see him everyday at school and that's what's good, I don't need to speak to him.

A few days passed and me and my friends were curious if he was actually dating someone. I told Ces that I would give her money if she could ask Jairo if he was dating anyone, she ofcourse agreed.

He told Ces that he was just courting someone but not dating them yet. We were quite happy, I hate how a side of me wished that he would get rejected, but ofcourse I tried to stop that thought, I'm not that type of person.

Soon after, I was with Ces when we saw Jairo walking down the stairs, Ces suddenly approached him and I was shook, we didn't plan anything like that. "Hi! Can my friend take a picture with you?" Ces said that to him. I was shook! That was so unexpected, we didn't plan to say anything like that, Ces was planning all by herself!!

I was speechless, so was jairo, he looks flustered and uncomfortable. At first, he said sure about taking a picture with me but I guess he suddenly changed his mind. "Uh actually, can we just do it next time?" He said. We agreed and said thank you, after that I got mad at Ces for doing that without letting me know, it was so embarrassing...

Oh did I mention? I was more like his stalker than his secret admirer. I had tons of pics of him on my phone, but not all of them are took by me, my friends helped me to capture pictures of him. I think he found about it soon enough, whenever we were around, he would get scared and run away. I don't think it was obvious that we took pictures of him tho.

For the past few weeks, he had been very scared being around us, it was so weird. Everytime we were around, he would suddenly run away or hide behind his friend's back, we don't bite??

A few weeks later, I was scrolling through Jairo's Facebook feed and I came across a girl's account. She had short brown hair, she was so beautiful. I saw that one of Jairo's friends tagged him in the the comment section of this girl's post. I thought, what if this was his girlfriend? I did a few research, and I knew it was her.

My friend, Ces, added her and spoke to her, let's call her Elle. Ces asked who Elle was dating and she said..

This message had me and Ces shocked, Jairo only said that he was courting someone. We soon found out that they have been dating for 6 months, I guess Jairo didn't want to say that to random students at his school.

I was heartbroken, knowing that someone you like, likes someone else. It hurts, but I had to accept it, I tried my best to lose feelings for him. But those feelings never went away, my heart still beats so fast everytime I see him. But this isn't right, I can't love someone who is already taken.

I wanted to find someone new that I can admire, but I did my best, I still couldn't find anyone. I tried texting my friends and asked if they know someone who I could meet.

Ces told me that she had a neighbor that goes to our school. Ces's family had a small store, that neighbor would buy at their store often. He went there once and Ces took a picture of him, but I couldn't see clearly since the pic was only his back.

Who knew that I would have a story with that person?
