"Yes,we are done, he can go now"
I was sitted looking at them as they discuss and then Chibuzor said
" That is great then…"
"We will continue tomorrow" He said
Chibuzor was facing me and he said
"Let's go home, it's getting late already"
I looked back and waved at them and Emeka said
"Wait…"
And then I stop walking while waiting to hear what he has to say
"I forgot to introduce their names when next you come you will get to know them better…" he said
"Okay, then"
I and Chibuzor smiled at them.
Chibuzor entered his car, while I sat down in the front seat.Chibuzor drives to the roadside, we could see cars moving and people going home as it was already late.
He looked at me and smiled.
"Good to see that you are in a good mood today and I believe you had a great time with him..."
"I love the great effort you and my grandpa put into this struggle for freedom and I believe we will have victorious results at the end.." I replied
He looked at me and said
"Take this snack and eat, are you not hungry?."
I collected the snack, opened it and ate, when I was done eating I said "thank you"
Chibuzor keeps driving and said
"The Biafra Actualization Movement are from the following state, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, and Rivers states as well as Igbanke in Edo State, Igala in Kogi State, and Idoma in Benue State."
I was surprised to hear this and I said
"From 13 states of Biafra, unbelievable, that is great, and some people believe that Biafra is a south-eas thing."
And he replied
"Stop listening to lies, it all started when General Yakubu Gowon splitted eastern Nigeria into two which are now the Southeast and the Southsouth on 27th of may 1967 where the creation of a new state came in after they heard meeting with General Odumegwu Ojukwu for a peace talk in Aburi so he came up with the idea to create new state to weaken the biafra agitation in the future."
"Why would they do such a thing?.." I asked
"Because they saw how formidable we were during the war and the main reason was to subdue the agitation for biafra in the future…"
"Some Ìgbo subgroup, such as the ikwerre, started disassociating themselves from the larger Igbo population after the war".
"Ìgbo subgroup from eastern region changed the names of both their people and places to non-Igbo sounding words because of discrimination, many ìgbo find hard getting employment during the early 1970s the igbo people become of the poorest ethnic groups in Nigeria but after 10years ìgbo rank the richest ethnic groups in Nigeria."
"Why would they do such a thing?.." I asked
"Because they saw how formidable we were during the war and the main reason was to subdue the agitation for biafra in the future…"
We arrived at his house in Benue state and he came down from his car then i followed him with my bag.
Chibuzor opened the door while I entered his house and then he showed me around the house and he took a book from his room and hold it .
