IT'S BEEN MONTHS SINCE ELIJAH LEFT. He'd call everyday and he often tried to come and visit. But one day the calls stopped and she grew worried about him, he never missed a call. There were a couple of times where he missed a call or two but he would always call as soon as he could.
Sydney had thought that this was like one of those times. It wasn't. It's been days since he last called. He had filled her in on all of the supernatural drama there.
It was early morning she had just put Tate to sleep since Tate had been awake for hours now. The rest of the kids were still sleeping, summer break was nearing.
The witch was currently debating whether or not to go to Mystic Falls and try to find Elijah. But as much as she worries about him, her children are her top priority. And she didn't want to pick up their life here in Boston, and go to that town.
School is almost over, it's the end of May. She could...could she? She would have to ask them if they want to continue school before leaving or if they should leave at all.
Sighing, she takes a sip of her coffee. "Mom?" A voice calls her.
She turns around to see her eldest child, Alex. "Yes, Alex?" She hadn't heard him coming down the stairs.
"Why hasn't dad called?" He asked, he knew something was wrong. He could tell the calls stopped and his mother would worry.
She bites her lip nervously. "I don't know, honestly. I think something happened to him," she admits, she didn't want to lie to him. He's fifteen, he deserves to know the truth.
He furrowed his eyebrows. "Why didn't we go to Mystic Falls and check on him?"
"Because you all go to school, and I don't think you'd want to pack everything that we have here up and leave," she tells him.
"Mom, it's okay. I'm worried too, let's go," he pleads, he didn't want to sit around knowing his father figure was missing.
Sydney sighs. "If you're sure then we'll go." If he wanted to go then who was she to deny him? If he was absolutely sure, she listens to her children and either give them want they want if it was a reasonable request or she would compromise with them.
