WHEN ELIJAH LEFT THE HOUSE, Sydney had woken up to someone nudging her awake. Her eyes flicker open and sees a distraught Stefan causing her to jolt up and brings him into her arms.
"Hey, what's wrong?" she asks him with a voice full of concern. Her mother's instincts were up and awake.
"It's Damon," Stefan whispers tears in his eyes, he had just gotten a call from Damon who told him that he got bit by Tyler.
"What happened? Is he okay?" Sydney questions him with worried eyes.
"Tyler bit him," the vampire tells her with a shaky voice, he didn't want to lose his brother. He was all that Stefan had left, as much as an asshole he was at the end of the day Damon was still his brother and he couldn't lose him.
The siphoner's eyes widened. "Oh my god."
Stefan gets out of her arms as she gets out of the bed and gestures for him to follow her out of the room. "I'm going to get Tate and Eli and we'll meet you in the car, my keys should be on the dinner room table," Sydney tells him as she goes to get the baby while Stefan went downstairs.
She quickly changes Tate and Eli and carries Tate in one arm and Eli in another and goes into the guest room. She gently nudges Jenna who mumbles something incoherent. "Jenna, Jenna," she whispers.
"What?" Jenna whines, trying to get back to sleep.
"Can you watch the kids, I have something I have to do but I should be back around 10," Sydney asks her as right now it was 7 in the morning.
"Yeah, sure, whatever," Jenna mumbles before going back to sleep, not actually listening to her.
Sydney makes her way out of the house and grabs a banana and an apple and quickly writes a note and leaves it on the table before heading out Stefan was already in the driver's seat as she buckled in the kids.
Stefan drives off the second she gets in, she wasn't driving because of her bad sense of directions it was better if someone who knew where they were going was driving. They get to the boarding house in 20 minutes.
Stefan runs into the house while Sydney takes the kids out of their car seats. She carries the baby carrier and holds Eli who was still sleeping on her shoulder and walks into the house. The second she does, she sees Damon choking Stefan; she uses her magic to get him off of Stefan without moving an inch.
