SYDNEY WAS CURRENTLY CALLING BONNIE'S DAD who didn't pick up which she grew angry at. She didn't understand how a father would leave their child all alone with no one. She already hated the man she hadn't met.
She then went to call Matt's mother who also didn't pick up and at this point she grew very angry. She looked at the two teenagers and she pushed down her anger. "Alright, for now on, you two will be living with me. I can't go to sleep at night knowing you two are alone," She tells him leaving no room for arguments.
They looked at her like puppies who had just seen their mother for the first time. They ran up to hug her, she smiled at them hugging them back. She didn't think about how Elijah would take it but she knew that he would be okay with it. Elijah would do anything for her and they both knew it. Everyone knew it.
The young mother went to call Jenna who answered right away. "Sydney is everything okay?" she questions. Sydney curses at herself for not informing Jenna right away like she said she would, everything happened too fast and it went over her head. She felt a pang of guilt for not doing as she had promised to do.
"Everything is alright, Elena is alive and well. Could you bring the kids to my house, I'm hosting a huge slumber party, you're invited of course, I'll text you the address," Sydney informs her with a soft tone.
"Okay! I'll be there, I'm going to get some ice cream," Jenna exclaims feeling excited, she doesn't have many friends she had been so focused on the teenagers to care for herself. She was glad to have someone else to talk to.
"Alright, I'll see you soon, also please bring extra clothes for Elena, Jeremy and Caroline" she says before hanging up with a smile. Sydney doesn't have many friends, she had learned from a young age that they would only slow you down when you're running from supernatural creatures. Or that they would be killed, she had seen too many people she cherished be killed all because she cared for them.
So she had stopped making friends, stopped interacting with the world around her and only focused on the children and nothing more. Well, that was until she had met Elijah who had completely changed not only her life but her kids.
The hybrid then called Caroline's mother who also was the sheriff of the town and Sydney was informed that she had known about the supernatural. Caroline's mother had also wordlessly agreed which surprised her.
