"Over everything, I choose you"

SYDNEY AND ELIJAH WERE AT THEIR HOUSE with their children just hanging out like families do. They were all watching t.v Sydney was sitting next to him while the two girls sat next to them and Xander and Tate were seated on the floor with Tate in his arms and Elias was seated on the couple's lap.

Soon one by one the children all fell asleep. Sydney took Tate from Alex's arms and put her in her nursery while Elijah carried the girls to their room and she then carried Elias into his room, Alex had woken up and went to sleep in his own room.

Sydney went straight to work, she had grimoires laid out on the kitchen table, her hair up in a messy bun as she paced back and forth trying to think of solutions to save Elena's life. Muttering to herself, "I could do that but then–no that wouldn't work. How about...? No, that's stupid. I mean I could use that one spell...maybe if I...? No. She has vampire blood in her system...what if I reversed the spell...? That wouldn't work. What about that..."

"Elskan, how about you take a break?" he suggested, gently pulling her away from the table she had been trying to find a solution for hours.

She gets out of grasp. "No, 'lijah, I can't stop, I'm almost there. I know it," she tells him, looking at her grimoires more intently. "It's there, I know it."

She furrowed her eyebrows at random thought that came to her she turned around to face Elijah. "You said that Bonnie had died but came back to life," Sydney states, suddenly remembering a conversation the two of them had.

Elijah nods his head, "I had heard about it from someone." He looks at her for a moment before catching on, "you want to use that spell."

"Yeah, I mean I have a spell that's similar to that, I just don't know if it'll work. I haven't exactly tried it," she informs him, biting her lip.

"Oh my god, it's a full moon tonight. I can't do the spell," she whispers, her eyes widen at the realization.

Elijah's eyes widened as well, "Alexander."

"Could you give this spell to Bonnie, tell her I said I'm sorry?" she asks him, ripping a page of her own grimoire and handing it to her husband.

It may or may not work, it was a 50% chance that it will and she hated those odds but it was better than nothing. "I'm going to take the kids to Jenna and hope that'll she take care of them and I'll go to the woods and help Xander," she informs him, going to grab her bag from the table.
