Harry's POV

'Percy!' Harry called.

He and Dumbledore had Apparated down to the first floor. This was Harry's first encounter with the whole apparition thing, and he decided very early on that he didn't like it. His internal organs felt like they had been twisted inside out and dunked in liquid nitrogen – and, knowing what wizards were like with their safety, they very well could have been. The whole sensation – Could it be described as a sensation? – was ludicrously uncomfortable and not something he wanted to experience again.

That concluded his review. Negative-two out of five.

Dumbledore had erased the most recent memories from all of the students. (Professor Binns was a ghost, obviously, and wasn't affected by the spell. So Dumbledore had to bribe him into shutting up about the matter.)

Percy turned. 'Harry! Oh, Dumbledore! So you were right?' he asked.

'Yeah. He knows about all of this.'

'Your secret is safe with me.' Dumbledore said, with a glint in his eyes.

He studied the courtyard. A fine layer of dew had covered the grassy square, and the biting cold was undesirable compared to inside Hogwarts. Neville was visibly shivering from head to toe, and next to him, sitting on the knee-high wall was-

Was that Malfoy?

'Is that Malfoy?' Harry yelled, appalled. 'He's the one who got claimed?'

'Potter?' Draco said. 'Oh, Merlin. Please don't tell me that he's a demigod too.'

'I take it you two don't like each other.' Percy noted.

He and Draco both nodded in unison, caught up in a glaring contest.

Percy grinned, clasping his hands together under his chin like a teenage girl. 'Well, you'll be even more pleased to find out that you two are now related.'

Draco looked to the sky and covered his face. 'No... Come on! It's always me!'

Neville raised a hand. 'I think that's my line.'

Professor Sprout came rushing into the courtyard, pink-cheeked and noticeably more worried than usual. She was mumbling to herself, and perked up when she saw Dumbledore.

'Professor Dumbledore!' she doubled over, panting. 'I have been looking everywhere for you! I was just going to confirm with you two boys being pulled out of my class- Oh.' She noticed he and Percy, then stood up straight. 'Well, I still need confirmation. I-'

Dumbledore raised a hand. 'The situation has been sorted. In this kind of matter, they are permitted to leave class without punishment.'

'Yes, but they still missed-'

'They all understand that they will have to catch up on what they missed.' Dumbledore finished. 'Don't they?' he said, looking at them.

'Yes, professor.' Harry confirmed.

'Mhm.' Percy flinched and turned to them with a wide-eyed smile. 'Totally get it. Makes perfect sense to me.'

What did he say? I missed it. Percy sent to him via link.

... Percy, why are you like this?

Uhh, He could sense Percy's concentration as he tried to formulate an answer. Idk.
