Chapter 19

Omniscient

"Fuck." Ariana whimpered with her hand on the glass door of her shower.

Amari stroked inside of her with his hand wrapped around her large knotless braids. Ariana's body shivered as Amari's deep voice whispered in her ear.

"You going come for me?" Ariana shook her head yes.

"Let me hear you say it."

"Yes." She moaned.

"Say it louder." Amari smirked, massaging her clit at a fast pace.

"Yes, oh my gosh!" Ariana's body shook as she orgasmed.

Ariana and Amari continued their love session in the shower for a few more minutes before showering and getting out. They were now in the bed watching Acrimony. Ariana had picked the movie since she hadn't saw it in a while and Amari had never seen it.

"Her ass crazy as hell." Amari commented, seeing the main character, Melinda harassing her ex-husband and his wife.

"I don't think she's crazy."

"Why not?"

"Because he's with the same bitch she caught him with when they were younger. Plus, he gave her everything he promised her and she's pregnant. She couldn't even have kids because of when she rammed her car into the raggedy ass trailer in his aunt's yard when she caught him cheating with the same bitch he's married. I would be mad as hell too."

"True, but she didn't want him when he messed up that little deal. But when he got that money she wanted him back."

"I see your point. But I still don't think she was really crazy."

"Let me find out your ass crazy." He side eyed her.

Ariana laughed before responding. "I'm not crazy, I just understand where she's coming from. She molded that man into the man he was. Like imagine believing and encouraging someone for years and when you finally get tired they accomplish their goal and give it to someone else. You can't tell me you wouldn't be mad."

"I would be mad, but I wouldn't try to get revenge. Especially if a woman gave me that amount of money."

"It wasn't about the money. It was about the time she couldn't get back. They were married for like twenty years; I think. That's a hell of a long time to be unhappy."

"You right." Amari agreed, pulling the covers over him.

"You about to go to sleep?" Ariana questioned. Amari shook his head yes, closing his eyes.

Ariana fixed Amari's tie on his suit. He was going to the father daughter dance with Kenzie this evening.

"You look so handsome." Ariana complimented him, finishing his tie. Amari had on a nice navy-blue plaid suit with some navy-blue velvet loafers.

"Thank you." Amari stepped away, placing his wallet in his pocket and grabbing his keys.

"I'll be back later."

"Alright, Kenzie coming back with you?"

"Yeah."

"Alright. I love you."

"I love you too." Amari kissed Ariana's lips then headed out. Amari was going to pick Kenzie up from her mother's house.

When Amari arrived to Kenzie's house he got out and knocked on the door. Minutes later, Raven's mother arrived at the door.

"Aw, you look handsome." She complimented Amari.
