I was awake before my alarm which happened often when I had things on my mind. This morning it was 5:45 instead of 7:00 because Blair was on my mind. I had a definitely adult dream about her and woke up unbelievably turned on heading straight to the shower to cool off. She was quickly becoming important. I had not fallen for a woman this fast in a long time and needed to get it together so that I wouldn't scare her off trying to move too fast.
To kill some time before I needed to leave to meet Blair, I checked some emails and looked over some contracts that my agent sent over for some product endorsements sending a few back with a no. I'm not a fan of hocking something that I don't use daily or wear myself. It feels dishonest and wrong no matter how big the paycheck is that comes along with it. I have learned the hard way that in the world of fame, you better have some crystal fucking clear boundaries set up that you never cross.
On the drive over to the coffee shop, I found myself anxious in all the best ways to see Blair. I couldn't wait to wrap my ams around her and kiss her even though it had been less than 24 hours since I had done just that. However, the thought occurred to me that I didn't know if I could do that because it would mean the chance of pictures getting out and changing Blair's life. I wanted the world to know that she was becoming mine, but I also knew how cruel and meddlesome that world could be and didn't want to run Blair off. I called JB for some assistance.
"Aren't you going to be at the coffee shop in like mere minutes?"
"Yes, but I need a favor."
"What's up?"
"You want to protect Blair, and so do I. Is she ready for it to get out that we are dating?"
"I don't know. You afraid someone in the shop will snap a picture?"
"JB, I promise you that I would shout from the rooftops that I want her to be mine, but you know that will change things for her. I don't want to scare her off because I really like her. I want to walk right into the coffee shop and be able to hold her and kiss her, but I know how things can get once it gets out that we are dating."
"Come in through the back door into the kitchen and go upstairs. I'll go find Blair and tell her to come up and join you. You need to talk to her about this so that she doesn't think you don't want to be seen with her."
"I will. Thanks, JB."
"Anything for family."
I pulled around to the back as he said and went into the kitchen to find Bri and her staff hard at work for the morning rush. She handed me a small tray filled with healthy breakfast choices and coffee, and I kissed her cheek in thanks.
"Talk to her. If she looks sad when you leave, you deal with me."
"I will, Bri. I won't hurt her. That's why I called JB this morning. Thank you for breakfast."
I passed JB coming back downstairs to help his wife. "Thanks again. Is she here?"
"Yeah; I explained a little to her, but it still needs to come from you."
I nodded promising him that I would take care of it.
I opened the door to the apartment and smiled at the sight of Blair sitting at the huge kitchen island laptop open. She had on tight athletic pants, running shoes, a long sleeved, loose top with a sports bra peeking out at the wide neckline and showing through the thin fabric. Her long hair was pulled back into a ponytail bringing her casually sexy look together nicely. I liked it and had to take a deep breathe as the sight brought back images from the dream I had about her.
