It's finally the weekend after another hard week at school. I am so glad since I can sit at home and play on my console all day. Maybe that wasn't the best use of my time, yes, but it keeps a girl happy.
That's when my dad barged into my room. "Daddy-daughter weekend timeee!" He cheered like his usual sweet self did and did a little happy-dance.
"Well, I kind of had plans here with my lovely Petra." I said. Yes I named my console Petra, made me feel less like a nerd. My dad laughed and yanked me off the bed to the living room."I thought we could go outside or do something. You know, like normal people?" Dad said, making fun of me. "Alright alright, I'll agree to this because I'm in a good mood today." I agreed. Of course I would have nonetheless, he is precious to me.
Dad and I put on our shoes and jackets, deciding that we weren't going to need umbrellas despite the fall weather. I had my blond hair under my beanie, and dad had a baseball cap on his head. I decided to put on some mittens, just to remember my grandma who kindly knit them for me a few years ago.
We stepped outside inhaling the fresh air, and started walking aimlessly until we found something worth checking out. We passed by my therapists office and then the old store. I should really stop calling it the old store and just get with the times and call it the bar like everyone else.
It's just that I had a lot of good times in that little shop, the owner was a nice old lady who let me keep a few candies I came to buy even after I'd realized that I had left my coins in my dads pocket when I was a kid. I wonder how the old lady is doing now, I never even got her name..."Dad, do you know how the old owners doing now? Did she atleast get good money for the property?" I asked, desperate to hear good news about her.
"I heard that she sold it for a hefty pricetag, so yes, I believe she is doing well financially. As to how she's doing personally, I wouldn't know. I only saw her a few times after all sweetie, sorry but that's all I know." My dad said, wishing he had more to tell me.As we passed the bar, we entered the same coffee shop I previously saw Ronnie in, having that date with the girl. I decided to persuade dad into coming here with me because I wanted to see what it was like. Ronnie brought multiple girls here so it must be good, right?
We made our way inside, and the lovely coffee smell hit our noses immediately. The place has a very brown woody theme mixed with some greenery from the plants hanging about. This place is very comfy indeed. Dad went and got us a table, telling me he trusted me to order us something nice. I ordered him an espresso, and myself a milkless hot chocolate. As i was waiting for the orders, I looked around the place except this time I eyed the customers. There was a bunch of older folk on dates and some were alone. Ultimately there wasn't that much space so, what can you expect?
Two people stood out however, two people I haven't seen before. A gorgeus woman with hair as dark as coal and eyes of emerald green, sitting with what looked to be her son? He has blonde hair and her green eyes. He looked to be about 6 years old, while the model of a woman looked to be around 20? I hope I was wrong with their ages, because if I'm not it would be quite disturbing...let's hope she looks young for her age.
I was cut short by the staff letting me know my order was up and I took it, taking it to be enjoyed by my dad and I. We left the coffee shop shortly after and the woman and her "son" were already gone, sadly. Not that I would have been able to talk to her, just wanted to harass her with my eyesight a bit more.
My dad and I decided to head home, since we've already been out for a few hours. The rest of the day will be spent making ourselves comfortable in the living room couch watching TV.—————————-
Monday arrived, and I found myself in the school hallways once again. I dreaded these days.
