Part 15

I have come up with a plan. It unfortunately involved using Ronnie since the guy wouldn't be suspicious of him. I will ask Ron to arrange another purchase from him, but this time he'll record the conversation.

There's a chance that this will backfire horribly, if anything tipped him off to the fact that evidence was being gathered right under his nose he'd stop dealing at the school atleast until the trial was over. He can't find out under any circumstances.

Now the next issue is, do I tell Val? She might try to call it off since it might not even count. I mean maybe his lawyer can try to argue that we were 'interfering' with the case and get everything we worked for dismissed. Ahh whatever! I'm going along with this plan no matter what. I don't want to tell Val atleast yet, I don't want to scare her off since it might come off as me being pushy and nosey.

Just as I was thinking about her, she texted me. 'Hey, just thought that since you had to leave so urgently a few days ago maybe you'd like to do something today?' She's cute, I like how fluffy her personality is. 'Sure thing, I'll get ready and we can meet in a few hours, okay?' I replied. She sent me a thumbs up, which is very millenial of her. Still cute.

I got my clothes ready and started working on hygiene. Deodorant, extra tooth brushing, hair combing and all. I even sprayed some expensive perfume.

I walked out of my room to see Onnie's fatass laid flat on the floor on his back. He's clearly in a need of some belly rubs and slaps. I took this blessing and started my assault on him but my brother decided to make himself known. "Hey, having fun there?" He laughed a little as if he doesn't do the same. "Ha-ha. You can't resist either!" I rolled my eyes and got up from the floor where I was crouching. "Don't you have your own place too, by the way? Why're you here?" I questioned him while walking past him to the kitchen.

"Yea, I got my life together now. But can't I stop by to tease my big sister?" He taunted. "Fine, I guess you have a point." I gave in. I made myself a plate of cereal once again, I should change my diet into something more nutritious. "I missed you too, how's work?" I asked him, knowing that originally I was supposed to be working with him. "It's alright, kind of lonely." He took a jab at me for not being picked.

We continued our pointless conversation for a while longer until his phone rang and he left me in the kitchen to eat by myself. I took this opportunity to text Ron to give him a heads-up about me needing a favor from him later. 'Ron, I'll need to cash in on that one favor you owe me, tomorrow.' I wrote. I waited for a while but a response never came. Maybe he's busy playing video games or doing whatever, I'll just catch him up tomorrow.

An hour passed already while I had a conversation with my little brother and ate. No harm in asking if I can already go see Val, right? I shot her a quick text, but right as I hit send she sent something as well. My text read 'Heeey, mind if I join you already?' And her's is 'So I was wondering if you wanted to come by now?'

Great minds think alike, I suppose. She sent me some laughing emojis and I replied to her telling that I would be there soon. I grabbed an apple off the counter and went on my merry way. I no longer have my dad's car, well, because why would I? So of course I decided to rely on my good old bike. It's a baby blue Helkama Jopo. My dad bought it for me from overseas a few years ago and it has lasted for a long time.

While I was on my soothing bike ride, I realized I haven't heard about Val's work in a while. I guess it just never came up? I'll ask about how it's going soon.
She's probably had more important things to think about lately...

I reached my destination and made my way to the bike racks outside of her appartment building. I locked up my bike, intertwining the wire lock thingy with the metal rack itself. No one's going to steal my baby! I skipped up the stairs and knocked on her door.
