After leaving the prison and getting off the bus I headed home. I decided to brush myself up a bit before I let Val see me tonight.

Also, I was supposed to ask Ron about the whole situation with Xavier but I remembered that he promised me to send anything as soon as he had it so I decided to wait. If I called him while he was on mission it could disturb him.

The deal went down at about the same time I met my mom, which was an hour and a half ago. I'm getting a little worried but chose to brush it off.

I see my dad on the couch when I open our front door and he calls me over immediately. "Hey, how did it go? Did she want anything? Is she different?" He bombarded me with questions. "Calm down." I told him. "She promised to help me at the trial. She's gathering witnesses and willing to testify." I said happily.

"That's wonderful news my love!" He stood up and hugged me, sharing my excitement.

I heard my phone bling and I knew that it was Ron's receipts coming through, as promised. "Sorry dad, I gotta talk to Ron for a bit." I said. He groaned. "That boy again. Is he really any good? Has he been good?" He kept asking questions about how Ron was treating me. "It's fine, dad. He's been doing his fair share of helping me with this trial just like mom." I calmed him.

He looked thoughtful for just a moment. "Alright. You've promised me dinner with this boy, have you not? I am expecting nothing less. When things calm down in your life, I want him here so I can evaluate him." He stated. I agreed and waved him off as I jogged to my room for privacy. I knew that Ron would send me an audio file so I took my headphones out to listen.

I plugged in everything necessary and got to work. I opened Ron's message and not only is there an audio but also a few pictures. I reviewed the photos first as they're easier. They contain Xavier literal face, but from a downward angle. He's still recognizable though. I guess Ron was able to convince him to roll the window down more than a crack. I can't believe this, this is crazy! Another photo showed him CLEARLY handing a bag of some sort to Ron, it's undeniable! He is so going down.

The pictures would be enough by themselves, that's how good they are. But on top of that I still have an audio file to snoop through. Here we go. I pressed play and a conversation began.

It started with Ron's familiar voice, asking about the deal. "So, do you have what we agreed on?" He asked. All the sounds are really clear, he definitely used some sort of special equipment! He couldn't have propped his phone so close, it has to be from a hidden microphone. Clever.

Xavier's voice came through. "Of course. Have you held up your end?" He asked, clearly talking about money. I hear some shuffling, presumably Ron taking it out. "Here, 40 bucks." He said.
"Alright, here's the weed." Xavier said after some shuffling in his car. Here they must have exchanged them since there wasn't much talking.

The audio ends with them saying goodbyes. "Okay, if you need more you know how to contact me, kid." Xavier says. "Yea, bye." Ron ends the conversation.
You can hear Xavier rolling up the window and driving off, that's where it ends.

This is brilliant! He's fucked!

We'll get him on immediate drug charges and maybe, if we're lucky, even a murder charge! He will never ever see his son again, much less any talk of any kind of custody, even shared custody.
I kick my legs and shake my body in excitement, this is actually insane. I have organized a mission to bring down a crimial! Who does that?
Hopefully this turns out succesfully.

I then saw a message pop up from Ron. 'Hey, pretty good huh?'

'Good? Good!? This is the best shit you've come up with ever!' I replied to him.
Before I could send anything more he sent something first. 'So, double date tonight?' He reminded me.
'Of course, I wouldn't forget.' I texted.
