Jess’s POV

I felt his warm breath on the back of my neck and I smiled, never wanting this moment to end. I opened one eye, spotting Mia sitting up and staring at us. Liam was nowhere in sight. I grinned at my best friend, gently laughing when she made a gagging sound and pretended to run off to the bathroom. Niall stirred behind me, pulling his arm away from my waist. His raspy voice made me giggle. “What- Omygosh. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to completely invade your space!” I rolled my eyes at his innocence. “Niall calm down. It’s ok. It’s kind of hard to do when we’re sleeping in the same bed.” The words made everything awkward, so I got up and took dibs on the bathroom. While I washed my face, my thoughts scrambled all over the place. Of course I didn’t want to leave. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I decided I would ask the boys if they wanted to hang out. Chances were low, but I was willing to take one.

Liam’s (1D) POV

I had not gotten a wink of sleep. Harry had constantly kicked or slapped me while dreaming of whatever that curly haired boy dreams of. As I made my way out of Harry’s room and towards my own, I couldn’t help but wonder how those girls could stand it. Then again, they were probably preoccupied with more interesting things than sleep in his bed.

Mia was sitting on the couch next to a sleeping Brenda. Her hair was a wavy mess, and I smiled as she waved at me and motioned for me to sit next to her. “We’re going to have a group meeting. That includes Zayn. Are you ok with that?” She nodded her head, and I could tell that she was trying to hold back tears. “He doesn’t hate me… does he?” Mia’s voice was small and delicate. I sighed, rubbing my hands over my eyes. “No he doesn’t. He thinks you hate him. That is why we need to sit down and talk about this. I also want to talk about that” I motioned towards the giggles and screams that were coming from my bedroom. Niall was probably tickling Jess to no end. It was his hobby to torture people like that. Mia laughed, standing up and stretching.

“Shall I go get the others?” I asked her, watching as she attempted to fix her hair. “Yea, and I’ll pull the two year olds out of the bedroom. That’s a much more difficult job.” “Not as tough as getting Harry awake and walking, mind you.” “Oh, it’s a bet. First person to get their members in the room wins.” I laughed, winking in her direction and walking out of the room. Her spunky personality reminded me of Danielle. I tried not to wince at the sudden thought of my ex-girlfriend, whom I had caught cheating. Now I knew what people really meant when they said the scars don’t just disappear. Pulling myself together again, I opened the door to Zayn and Louis’s room. Save the hardest for last.

Mia’s POV

I sighed, tugging at the ends of my hair and attempting to ignore the vile thoughts forming in my mind. It wasn’t Zayn’s fault that he was so much like... him. The boy hadn’t done anything wrong. It was just my imagination playing tricks on me. Niall and Jess were chasing each other around the rooms, tears running down both their cheeks from laughing so hard. Brenda had woken up due to a particularly loud scream next to hear ear. Niall had popped out from behind the couch, scaring Jess and making her scream over the sleeping girl. I didn’t blame her for leaving and going to sleep in the other room. I pulled my knees into my chest and wrapped my arms around them. Niall had pinned Jess down on the couch, pretending to be a vampire. I couldn’t help but laugh at the two.

Niall’s cute Irish accent filled the room as he forced Jess to surrender, which she did. I heard a knock on the door, followed by the entrance of four groggy looking boys. Harry’s hair bounced as he walked towards the couch, slumping down and nearly pushing me off. I laughed at the sleepy teenager, not understanding the physics behind his poofy hair. Girls spent hours trying to do that, and all he had to do was sleep. Next was Louis, cheerful as always but obviously exhausted. He waved at me, leading an even sleepier looking Liam by the hand towards the armchair. I must have looked extremely puzzled, for Liam leaned in and whispered in my ear “Looks like we’ve got two couples in this room. Lou and Li, and Nialler and Jess.” He winked as he sat down next to me. My mind was still boggled from how one night could result in hand holding the next day. I looked up to see Zayn enter the room, his hair the complete opposite of Harry’s. It lay flat on his head, a few strands dangling over his sleepy eyes. He walked over and sat on top of Harry’s legs. That left Liam and I on the floor with Niall and Jess.
