Winter's whole body was weak; he struggled to open his eyes, but he heard voices "is he going to be okay? He fell hard and multiple times" One voice said it sounded female. "I don't know, and I just wish he would have listened to me instead of running like that" that voice was Snake's "cam, you blame the poor kid? I mean, after reading that article, it's not surprising he ran," a second male voice said.

A pair of footsteps got closer to his head, and a soft hand ran over his face "god, I feel terrible that we did this to him. I hope he can forgive us when he wakes up," it was a second female voice he then felt a kiss on his forehead which caused him to stur, but he fell back asleep. It was another few hours until Winter opened his eyes; he was back in his room; it was dark outside, and his side lamp was on, but the room was empty.

Was it all a dream? Did all that chasing be for nothing? Had he finally gone mad? Looking at his left hand, which was covered in bandages, he removed his bed sheet his legs were covered in bandages as well his throat felt dry managing to pull himself out of bed using his nightstand to steady himself after a few seconds he finally got to the door and opened it six pair of eyes looked back at him.

There was a few seconds of silence before he sighed and looked down "if one of you could bring me a glass of water, that would be great" closing the door behind him, he managed to make it back to his bed; he sighed "knock, knock" Diane popped her head in carrying a glass of water for him to which she gladly took. "ah you're a saint" downing the drink in one Diane gave a warm smile as she sat near the end of the bed.

"Are you still scared of us?" Diane didn't even look up. "I heard what you said about me being safe at last, and if I was scared, I would have tried to either get to the front door or hid in the bathroom, heh." Diane looked towards the human; he had a slight smile. "I'm sorry we made you run in fear and that you got hurt because of our actions" Diane had a few tears running down her face; she felt a thumb rub those tears away.

"Please don't cry; you don't need to beat yourself up because of me being afraid." Winter smiled as Diane hugged him tight "ow, ow, ow too tight!" He yelled as Diane panicked, "ohmygoshImsosorrypleaseforgiveme!" "Calm down, Diane? Your name is Diane, right?" "Yep, that's right" looking to his right was an orange and black spider; he jumped back in fear falling down the other side of the bed.

With a loud thud and groan of pain, the door flung open the ground saw a pair of legs on the other side of the bed. Wolf and Shark ran over and helped Winter up and back on the bed; he scooted away from said spider. "I'm sooo sorry. I didn't mean to scare you" "uh huh," Wolf sat next to you. "I guess we should probably introduce ourselves; guys, let's do this."

"First, you got me, Mr. Wolf," he gave Winter a warm smile and wink, "next up is Mr. Snake" Snake went up and gave Winter a little hug "following him is Ms. Tarantula which I understand you might be a little afraid of" Webs went up as Winter held out a hand to which she shook "sorry just a little bit of arachnophobia plus that jump scare you gave me." "next up is Mr. Shark," he came up and gave Winter a first bump "second to last is Mr. Piranha" he hopped on the bed and kissed Winter's hand "handsome as always."

"Finally, we have Diane Foxington." She walked up and planted a kiss on Winter's lips "still a cutie~" he had a  blush on his face, "and I'm Winter" he laughed at his terrible joke "get him?" Shark asked "get him," Snake said. "Get Him!" Wolf yelled as the human was pulled into a group hug. Winter felt safe; he wanted to stay like this for a while until his stomach growled.

"I guess I haven't eaten in a while, hehehe" the group looked at each other with a nod Shark managed to pick Winter. "I ugh, whoa okay then" he was put back in his bed as Wolf sat next to him as Diane pulled out her phone. "Hey, listen, I'm sorry we made you panic so much," he gave a low laugh "it's fine; listen, I've got a question. I know this may sound silly, but."

Wolf placed a singer's soft finger on his lips "shhh, what is it?" "canitouchyourtail?" Winter looked away out of sheer embracement with a beat red face; that's when he heard Wolf laugh and felt Wolf's tail on his face, so he started to rub his tail "so soft" Wolf's smile grew, and his tail started; to wag.

Wolf soon lay down in Winter's lap, who softly rubbed his head. "I didn't know you were a sucker for head rubs" "yeah, well, you do them just right~" "thanks" Wolf and Winter just stayed there listing to the rain outside until Piranha kicked the door open "IT'S PIZZA TIME!" Both jumped in shock; looking at the duo, he yelled for the others.

Thinking fast, Winter tried to hide Wolf under the covers; as the others came in, Snake asked the question on everyone's mind. "Where's Wolf?" As if on cue, he moved from beneath the covers and popped his head out. Webs pulled out her phone to snap a pic, and Winter's face went even redder "it's not what it looks like!"

"oh, I'm sure~," Shark said. "I just gave Wolf some head rubs; now, can I please have some pizza!" He yelled laughing the group sat on the bed and enjoyed pizza soon the group was getting tired "I've got enough rooms for you all." As each one left for the night, only Diane and Wolf left; they looked towards each other with devilish smiles.

"You know, Wolf, I think we need to make sure Winter doesn't get hurt~" "You're right Diane, I think we need to make sure his needs are met."
