I was skating on max's skateboard, he was actually helping me learn. I fell a couple of times but I was fine.

I flipped the skateboard and before I could fall max caught me, I gave him a thankful smile.

I noticed the skateboard going down the street, "Shit!" Max exclaimed, he helped me up.

But someone stopped it from going any further, I looked up and saw it was El.

Eleven walked towards us with Max's skateboard in hand, she handed Max his skateboard.

"Hi." El said, "Hi?" Max said, El then turned to me, "Can we talk?" El asked me.

I paced around as I listened to El talk, "And then he...he said he missed me." El continued, I crossed my arms.

"And then he just hung up." She finished, "He's a liar." I said, El seemed confused, "What?" She said.

"Mike doesn't have jack shit to do today. And his nana obviously isn't sick." I said, "I guarantee you, him and Lucas are playing Atari right now." I told her.

"But friends don't lie." El said, I raised an eyebrow, "Yeah, well, boyfriends lie. all the time." I stated, then I sat on the bed.

"You're going to stop calling him. You're going to ignore his calls. As far as you're concerned, he doesn't even exist." I told her, El looked at me, "Doesn't exist?" El said.

"He treated you like garbage. You're gonna treat him like garbage. Give him a taste of his own medicine." I said, El nodded.

"Give him the medicine." El said, I nodded, Max went to visit mike at his house since he was going through a crisis.

"Come on." I helped her up, El looked at me, "Where are we going?" She asked.

"To have some fun. there's more to life than stupid boys y'know ." I told her while I was leading her to the door.

Me and El got off the bus and we have arrived to starcourt mall, El was holding my hand.

"So, what do you think?" I asked her, I noticed she had a worried look on her face, "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked her.

"Too many people. Against the rules." El said, "Seriously? You have superpowers. What's the worse that could happen?" I said with a chuckle, I took her hand and led her inside the mall.

We stood in the center of the mall, El looked around, "So, what should we do first?" I asked her.

"You've never been shopping before, have you?" I asked with a smirk, El shook her head.

"Well, then I guess we're just gonna have to try everything." I said, "Ooh. come on." I said and led her inside the gap.

"Do you like that?" I asked El who was staring at a certain clothing, she looked at me, "How do I know...what I like?" El asked.

"You just try things on. until you find something that feels like you." I stated, "Like me?" El asked.

"Yeah. Not hopper, not mike. You." I said.

After trying out literally everything at the mall, it was time for us to head back home.

We walked through the entrance and that's when I saw Mike getting his bike, "oh, you've got to be shitting me." I said.

El followed my gaze and saw Mike, I walked forward and looked at mike, "Well isn't this a nice surprise." I said.

Mike dropped his bike and pointed at El, "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Shopping." El answered, "This is her new style. what do you think?" I asked.

"What's wrong with you? You know she's not allowed to be here." Mike said, "What is she? your little pet?" I asked.

"Yeah. Am I your pet?" El said, Mike shook his head, "What? No!" He exclaimed.

"Then why do you treat me like garbage?"

"What?"

"You said nana was sick." El said, "she is." Mike defended.

"She is. She is sick."

"Yeah, sick...she's sick."

"She's sick."

"She's super sick."

I raised an eyebrow at Lucas, then mike spoke, "that's why we're here, actually." Lucas finished.

"Yeah, we're shopping. Not for us, but for her. For Nana."

"For nana."

"Also, we're here to get a gift for you. Just, we couldn't find anything that suited you and I only have, like,  $3.50, so it's hard." Mike stated.

"Super hard. It's expensive." Lucas said, "You lie. why do you lie?" El asked, she looked at the bus that had just arrived and back to mike, she walked towards him.

"I dump your ass." El said, my eyes widen as my jaw dropped, oop.

El grabbed my hand and we both walked towards the bus, max looked at mike.

I sat at the seat towards the window and El sat beside me, we both looked at each other and laughed, she gave me a high five.
