It's My Birthday

"Happy Birthday!!"
Parker awakens me with a cake.
"Aw thank you daddy."
Cara smiles and sits on my chest as I blow out my candles.
He sings the birthday song and then we eat a slice
"The other teachers are coming around tonight for a party if you're okay with that"
"Okay do they know about us? That you're the actual father?"
"Yes I've told them since it's your birthday"
"Oh okay do they know it's triplets and the genders?"
"No I wanted you to tell them tonight and about the engagement."
"Of course, can I invite my uncle?"
"Of course you can baby"
I text uncle John and he says he'll be there with a present and the forms to officiate our marriage.
He loves me and he's always been there for me.
I tell daddy that he'll be there
"So which teachers?"
"Mr and Mrs Morrison, Ms Lovejoy , Ms Miller , Mr Johnson , Ms Wilson, Ms Taylor and Mr Williams."
"Oh okay and my uncle is coming too so I'm total that's 9 people."
"Oh Bruno , Laura and my sister Niamh and my niece Avery are coming."
"Niamh is the only sister I still have contact with"
I nod.
"13 people in total"
"Let's put some decorations up"
I smile as he takes out buckets of ice to put the drinks in.
He puts beer and wine in it.
We eat breakfast and then we hang up decorations.
We leave the house for a bit and then we come home.
My uncle gets the first as always
I open the door and I'm in a pretty black dress
I hug him straight away.
"Uncle John!"
"Cass, my sweet girl! You look amazing"
"Thanks come in. There's beer and wine chilling."
"Can't gotta drive home"
He smiles as he shakes hands with Parker
"So you must be her fiancé"
"Yes I am sir... it's a pleasure to finally meet you"
They hit it off straight away and then Cara starts babbling.
"Oh my god there's Cara.. she's gone so big"
He cradles her until there's a knock at the door.
It's Ms LoveJoy, my maths teacher and she has a present too.
"Thanks Ms."
"Please call me Andy  since you're not a student anymore"
"Hi Andy"
She sits down next to my uncle and shakes his hand
They start talking.
"Ms Miller"
I smile as I answer the door.
"Call me Eve sweetie"
"Okay Eve"
"You look gorgeous sweetie"
She hugs me and then talks to Parker and the others.
Mr Johnson appear next.
"Hi..."
"Hi Cass, you can call me William"
"Okay hi William"
Niamh and Avery arrive next.
"Hi guys. Welcome"
"Hi"
Avery smiles.
"My mommy told me that you're having a baby"
I nod
"That's right."
She goes off and grabs a lollipop that Parker had for her
"What do you say?"
"Thanks-you"
"She still is a bit iffy on her words"
Niamh sighs and smiles at me
"Happy Birthday Cass"
"Thanks"
"Ms Wilson and Ms Taylor , hi"
"Hi please sweetie you can call me Joan."
Ms Taylor responds
"You can call me Jane sweetie"
Everyone arrives and I find out the Mr Morrisons name is Joel and Mrs Morisons is Emily.
They all sing happy birthday and I blow out the candles
Everyone cheers.
"Thanks Everyone for coming and Parker and I have actually got some news."
They all stare intently at us.
"As you already know I'm pregnant"
They all smile and cheer.
"It's triplets and they're all girls"
Avery runs up to me and hugs me so I lift her up and spin her around.
She giggles
"I like you Cass... no I love you"
"Aw"
Parker smiles
"I love you too"
I smile as I put her down.
"Also We are engaged!"
Parker announces
I flash my ring and everyone crowds to look
"Congratulations"
I hear a thousand times
Laura hugs me and so does everyone else before leaving
Cara's in bed already and she's had a bath so we go to bed.
"Daddy I've got a baby name in mind ; Rachel."
"I love it."
He says as he smiles and nods
"Let's choose that one then"
"Okay hello Rachel"
He says as he prods my stomach.
"Oop there's a kick"
"Let's go to sleep now daddy... goodnight love you daddy"
"Love you more"
