Chapter 22

I start throwing things into my suit case. I found 1 bar of signal. Enough to call Myles and tell him to book me a plane ride home.I go to the front office and tell them im leaving. I don't care about telling Kalin. I called an Uber and got in. Next thing I knew, I was crying uncontrollably.

"You ok?" The Uber asked.

"Do I look ok?" I said bawling.

"Im sorry ma'am. Tissue?" He asked. He gave me a tissue and I cried harder. I looked back and saw them flirting away.. I hope he's happy.

*KALINS POV*

I can feel my skin tingling. It's not the kind of tingle where you've been in the sun for too long, it's the "I feel like something bad just happened." I can't tell ash about what happened because she will leave me in an instant.

I swam across the lake and got onto the platform.

"SUMMER 2K15!!!" I screamed. Then I jumped off the platform. When I got back to the surface of the water, everyone was cheering and then music started.

I wish ash was here to enjoy this...

*8 pm*

It started getting dark so I said bye to everyone and want to go take a shower. I knocked on the door.

"Ash im here." I said. I walked in to an empty room.

"Ash?" I said. I looked around and her bag was gone. I ran out of my cabin and went to the office.

"Is Ashlyn Parrish anywhere to be found?" I asked.

"The airport. She checked out of the camp a few hours ago." The lady at the front said.

"Did she give you a reason?" I asked.

"No." She said.

I ran back to my cabin and tried to find service. I tried calling and calling and texting. I got nothing.

I layed down in my bed and cried...

*ASHLYNS POV*

I sat down in my seat and cried...

Once the plane landed, I went to find myles. Once I saw him, I couldn't help but start crying even more.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"K-k-Kalin kissed a-another g-girl." I said. Choking up on the words.

"Im sorry sis.." He hugged me tight.

"I love you myles." I cried.

"Love you too.. Let's get you home to mom and dad." He said. He put his arm around me and went to baggage claim. He grabbed my bag and we walked to his car.

We got in and I got on my phone. I had 20 missed called and 100 texts from Kalin.

I read the messages and didn't reply.

I put down my phone and started to cry even more.

How could someone do that. How could you throw away our whole relationship. I am torn.

"When we get home, don't tell mom and dad what happened. Just say I missed home." I said.

He nodded and started making breakfast since it was 8 am.

I don't know what I would do without my brother.. He's always been there for me..

*2 months later*

Summer is almost over, sadly.. But this is my last year of high school and I couldn't be happier. Senior year is SOOO easy.

I heard a knock at my door. It's probably my pizza.

I opened my door to Kalin..
