"Here we are." I said putting the car in park. "Nebraska University." (??)

Kalin and I grabbed all my stuff and checked me into the dorms.

"Your roommate is a girl named Madison, you'll like her!!" The overly peppy volunteer said. "Room number is 458, here's your key." She smiled.

"Ok thanks!"

We walked into the 400 building and rode the elevator to floor 5. My room was all the way down the hall way.

I grabbed Kalins free hand with my hand and opened the door. A girl with long, brown hair turned around.

"Ashlyn??"

"Madison?"

We screamed and hugged each other.

"You're so pretty!!" I said.

"NOOO!! You're absolutely gorgeous!"

"This is my boyfriend Kalin." I smiled. I grabbed his arm and he put his arm around my shoulder.

"Do you go here too?"

"Sadly no, I live in LA."

"Awe that sucks so bad.. Well I'll let you unpack Ashlyn, I'm gonna go for a run."

"Ok I'll see you later then!" I smiled. She waved bye and I closed the door.

I sat on my side of the room on the bed and Kalin joined.

"This is my last time seeing you.."

"No, you can come anytime you want. I'll come down every break no matter what and I'll do everything and anything to talk to you Kalin. I love you, were not losing connection. Our future has big plans." I smiled.

He kissed me one last time before he had to take an uber to the air port.

He stood up and got down on one knee. I started to tear up and put my hand over my mouth.

Madison opened the door, "I left my ear-." She gasped and got her phone out and took a video.

"Ashlyn Parrish, I know we will be miles and miles apart, but I want to have a way for you to always be with me, and for me to always be with you. I love you more than anything in this world and I swear to always give you my all and love you and cherish every moment, like I already do, forever. I'll forever be by your side, through everything. I just feel like this is the right thing to do, and the right time. So will you please take this ring and marry me?"

I started crying, and so did he. "Of course I will Kalin." I managed the choke out. He got up and slipped the ring on me and I jumped into his arms. I heard sniffles come from Madison. A couple people stopped by the door and were clapping. He looked down I kissed him.
