Chapter 27

I started to remember everything, except the reason im here.

"Why am I here?"

"You got into a car crash and then went into a coma." ash said.

She's so beautiful.

"My bad." I chuckled.

"Kalin, that isn't funny. You could have died!" She yelled.

"Im... Im sorry Ash." I said sadly. "I have to say something really crazy."

"Go ahead."

"Ash, I love you."

"I love you too, just-"

"Alrighty Ashlyn, you gotta leave while we do our check up on mister White." The nurse said.

Noo..

Ash came over and hugged me and left.

*ASH POV*
I walked out and went to my car. I texted Kalins mom and told her to call me when the checkup is over so I can talk to Kalin.

I went home and decided to do some school work that I haven't done in days.

*ring ring*

"Hello?" I asked

"Hey baby." I could hear Kalin smile over the phone. I couldn't help but smile a little too.

"Um, I have a question." I asked

"Shoot it."

"Do you remember what happened.. between us?" I asked.

"The last thing I remember is being on a cruise with you and then camp."

"Well what do you remember at camp?" I asked

"Us having the time of our lives. that's it."

"So do you know who Amber is?"

"Nope."

"Oh ok. Well I gotta go-"

"No no no, who is Amber?"

"Uhh, I'll tell you when I know you're ready to hear."

"Ashlyn, babyyyyy, you can tell me n-"

I heard screaming then the phone cut off. I got up lightening quick and ran out my door and to the hospital. I saw Mama in the waiting room crying.

"Mama what happened?" I asked hugging her.

"Kalin had a seizure and had to be rushed into surgery." she said crying.

"I hope he's ok.." I sat down by her and held her hand.

I woke up to Kalins name being called, signaling that the procedure is done and he is awake. The nurse let me and Mama back and he was quietly drinking a juice box being held by a different nurse.

"Hey baby." Mama said holding his hand.

"Who is that?" He asked pointing to me.

Not again..

"Hi Kalin. Im Ashlyn... your friend.."
