After being discharged from the hospital I found myself sitting on the couch waiting for Dad and Danno to come and talk to me. Charlie and Grace were staying with Uncle Chin and Aunt Malia. I know they are not happy with me. I could tell. Daddy walks in and looks at me and then Danno walks in
"Danno and I have agreed that your punishment for not taking your meds that you yourself admitted that you purposefully left at home will be the surfing trip you had planned this weekend with your friends.-"
"But-"
"There are not buts Alex you know better than to do that. So it's your fault." Danno says
"Yes sir." I replied not wanting to push it any further.
"Now for the part of cussing me out you will be receiving a mouth washing and you are grounded for 2 weeks. Go wait for me in the bathroom." Daddy said and I went to the bathroom downstairs and waited for him to come in. He pulled out his knife and sliced a bar of soap and I held it in my mouth for five minutes "Alright now rinse." I did "Danno and I love you Alex."
"I love you too." The rest of the night I was in my room thinking about what happened and wishing that I had remembered my medicine because I would be with my friends surfing this weekend and not at home in my room while Grace got to go to her friends and have a sleep over.
