A swarm of bats screeched as the flew from a chimney, as a police siren was heard. The police car stopped in front of the building, as the two officers, Rucka and Mazzuccheli stepped out and entered the building, aiming their weapons.
Radio: "There has been a report of screaming at location 1939 Harbor Way. Possible shots fired."
The two officers used their flashlights, as it was dark inside. Officer Rucka had brought a shotgun with him, while Officer Mazzuccheli had a simple pistol. They looked around to find a batarang stuck in a wall.

As they walked around the batarang, they even found some slash marks on the wall. They approached a door, which led them down the basement. They walked down to find women locked in a cage.
Woman: "They saved us. Demons." She said, speaking in a foreign language.
Officer Rucka: "It's okay. It's okay. We're-We're going to help." He said, trying to put them at ease.
Woman: "They saved us."
Officer Rucka: "Okay, we're going to get you out of here. Okay?"
As he tries to open the door, the frightened woman shuts it in fear, shaking her head at the officers. Indicating that she and others don't want to get out. She then points her finger upwards.
Woman: "They're still here."
Officer Rucka: "I - I don't understand."
Then, a loud thud was heard as man screamed in pain. The women all gasped in fear, as Officer Rucka gestured to his partner that he'll go up to investigate. As he has his shotgun ready and walked slowly upwards, he could faintly hear two voices.
Man: "Please don't, please don't. I don't know who he is. I don't know who he is." He pleaded.
Hot Shot: "That's not good enough."
Another loud thud was heard, along with a painful scream. The officer kept walking through the dark corridor, till he finds the man handcuffed to a radiator, beaten, and had a lot of cuts on his chest. The man identified was Cesar Santos. The officer looked behind, having a feeling something is still here. In the corner, the Batman and Hot Shot stood there. Rucka slowly turned around to see, and tried to shoot then. They quickly moved towards the ceiling, while evading the bullets, and leaved through a hole. As they escaped, a light illuminated from the doorway as the officer shot in its direction.
Officer Mazzucheli: "Christ!" He yelled.
Officer Rucka: "I saw them. I never saw them before. I didn't know..."
