Blake and Lois team up to gather evidence that Lex Luthor was responsible for the bombing at the Capitol and prove Superman's innocence. Meanwhile, Batman prepares for a fight and Luthor plans ahead...

Lois pulled away plastic curtains to see what was on the other. Lois Lane and Blake Riley arrived at Keefe's apartment to look for any clues revolving around Luthor's involvement. Inside, they see what almost appeared to be various blood bags, hanging from the ceiling. Along with writing on the walls, newspaper clippings, spray paint of the Capitol building, and various tools. As they were looking around, an officer knocked on the door.

Officer: "Alright, you two. You gotta go."

Lois gestured for a second, as she then walked towards a bowl of fruit. She picked up an orange to see that it was fresh.

Lois: "Blake, look."

Blake was confused for a moment, till he realized what she was talking about. He then walked over to the fridge and opened it to see fresh groceries.

Blake: "Oh my god, Keefe didn't know that he was going to die." He said as he and Lois walked out.

Jenet: "The wheelchair and the bullet from the desert were made from the same metal."

An analyst was on a call with Lois, talking about the connections. She helped Ms. Lane look over the bullet she recovered when Lois was in the desert, when this whole fiasco happened.

Meanwhile, Lois was walking up the stairs to her workplace while Blake went away to get in touch with an old friend.

Lois: "I know. The desert. The hearing. Everywhere Superman goes, Luthor wants death."

Jenet: "But, Luthor goes through all of that trouble...creates a bomb out of a wheelchair, and then alters it to reduce the blast?"

Lois: "What do you mean?" She asked.

Jenet: "The inside of the chair was lined with lead." She said.

Lois: "You couldn't stop it." She said as she pulled the phone away from her. "You couldn't see it." She says.

John: "Hold on, you want me to do what again?"

John Economos was currently talking with Blake on the phone, while he was still doing his job. Both Flo and Harcourt looked at Economos, curious to what exactly is going on.

Blake (On Phone): "I need you to check on these people that could have a connection with Lex Luthor: Kahina Ziri, Wallace Keefe, and possibly Senator Finch."

John: "Okay, but...why?" He questioned.

Blake (On Phone): "Dammit, John! People are dying, Superman is framed, Batman is probably going to do something stupid, and Lane could get hurt. Luthor is at the center of all of that. You're an expert on computers and shit. I need to know everything and I need you to gather any evidence that could bring that son of a bitch down."

John: "Okay, okay, you make a good point. Hang on."

He moved his chair to a computer and began typing. Harcourt and Flo walked over to him, as they were seeing what he's doing. He pulled video footage, records, data regarding Kahina, Keefe, and Finch. They saw footage where Kahina was pushed onto the rail tracks, and the bail paid for Keefe to go free.
