Capitol Building
Security scans Wallace Keefe with a metal detector as he was going to meet with the senators. While this was happening, a reporter named Soledad O'Brien was covering this. After security finished scanning, Keefe proceeds forward.
Soledad: "The Senate hearing is expected to get underway any minute now. And of course, the big unknown in all of this is will Superman show up? That is what they're really waiting to see."
As she was talking, Keefe approaches to close to her, as she then spots him and asked him some questions.
Soledad: "Mr. Keefe. Mr. Keefe. Soledad O'Brien, In The Moment. Quick question for you: You're heading in to meet with the senators. What will you tell them?"

Wayne Enterprises
Bruce Wayne, along with Grace and Blake Riley, were in a conference room going over a few things. Blake never really much talked unless there was an important matter to go through. As this was going on, the broadcast covering the Capitol was live on the many screens behind them.
Keefe (TV): "I've come here to tell them to wake up. This is flesh and blood. He has delivered a war here. And this...this is what war looks like. I have nothing." He said as the camera looks down to his amputated legs.
As Keefe's voice was heard, both Bruce and Blake turned around to see him, on screen. The two glanced at each other, remembering Keefe from what happened in Metropolis.
Soledad (TV): "There are plenty of people, sir, who would say he's their hero."
Keefe (TV): "He is not a hero!"
Bruce: "Grace, can you get Greg up here, please? Right now." He said.
Grace stood up, and walked out of the room to get Greg. Blake couldn't help but get a bad feeling for what's about to happen. If Clark does show up, he'd wish him the best and hope that things couldn't get messy.

In a subway, Lois Lane steps out of the train, as she was having a conversation with Perry White on the phone.
Lois: "An anonymous source can verify everything I told you about what happened in Nairomi."
Perry: "An anonymous source?"
Lois: "Run it. Luthor engineered the desert. It was an ambush for Superman. Trust your reporter. Think Watergate."
As she was going up the stairs to exit, she glances over to find Kahina, who was going downstairs to get on the train. Unknown to her, Anatoli was following behind her.
Perry (Phone): "Yeah, and you need to think Litigate. If you're wrong, Luthor will sue the paper out of existence. You need proof."
Lois kept glancing, but she remained focus on the conversation she was having.
Lois: "No, it needs to run now. Before the hearing. If Superman knows, it might change what he says."
Perry: "I am not going to risk the paper, so that you can pass notes in class to the man that rescued you."
