"Sarah can't leave. We're practically family," Jeffy told the others.

"That's why you are coming with me. I can't leave you, Jeffy, you're like a little brother to me." Sarah pulled him in her arms and held him. Jeffy then hugged her.

"I'm coming with you?" Jeffy then smiled, "but where will we go?"

"Somewhere where someone will adopt us and love us. We will go when it's dark out and everyone is asleep."

Once it was bedtime, the kids went to sleep and the head Nun went to bed as well. Sarah slowly got up and pulled her backpack under her bed. She then grabbed her boots, but didn't put them on yet. She carefully and quietly went to the boys bedroom. There Jeffy was waiting for her in his bed awake. He sat up once he saw her at the doorway. He reached down and grabbed his backpack under his bed and slipped on his shoes. Sarah then took his hand and they both carefully got out the door.

The two children got out to the front door and quietly snuck out. They headed down the road. Once they reach the bottom they looked back seeing the orphanage on the mountain one last time. They then bolted into the woods. They were not out of the blue yet.

Sarah prayed and hoped they will find a new home soon. A home where someone would love and take care of her and Jeffy.

"Are we safe yet?" Jeffy whispered as they kept walking in the forest deeper and deeper.

"I'm not sure. We are probably miles away now."

"How will we find a new mommy and daddy? We never went out beyond the orphanage ever."

"I-I don't know, but I will know we will." She tried to smile to her best friend.

The moon was full and the sky was clear that night making the earth bright in the night sky. The only sounds they heard was their footsteps and crickets chirping in the night.

Hours and hours passed. Once the sun was rising, both Jeffy and Sarah were out of the forest and found themselves in a field. It was nothing, but wilderness for miles and miles. Sarah sighed and kept walking holding Jeffy's hand.

Please. Have someone find us. Or have us find someone to help us, she prayed.
