Chapter 12

A few hours later, Elia is walking around the city and goes to a pizza place. "Yeah I would like a large cheese pizza." She tells the cashier. Then, Miles walks through the door and Elia looks away. "Just two sodas." He tells the cashiers. Elia ignores him, but her feelings for him won't make it easy. Same for Miles, while Elia gets her pizza and Miles gets his sodas, he moves one of the sodas towards her and walks away. She smirks but gets rid of it. While she starts eating her pizza, Miles can be seen getting severely injured outside by Evil.E and Alex. "No!" She says to herself while she smashes through the window and blasts both of them. "Are you okay?" She asks him, but he doesn't respond. "No no no please don't tell me your-" She stops when Alex slashes her from behind and Evil.E knocks her out! 3 hours later, and Elia wakes up in a hospital in the middle of the night, she slowly walks out of the room and into Miles' room. She can see him and whispers to him. "Miles, are you awake?" He doesn't respond. Elia walks closer and lays down next to him, Miles get's on edge and gets up before Elia calms him down. "Relax, it's just me." Miles looks at her and asks. "What are you doing here?" She looks at him and says. "I-I can't sleep unless I'm next to you anymore." Miles pouts and tells her. "Yeah, I couldn't sleep when you were gone for two days!" Elia looks down in regret on what she did. "And I bet you slept just fine without me when we split up." Elia looks at him and tells him. "No, I couldn't sleep at all. I have cried all night since then." Miles starts to feel bad and decides to let her sleep with him. "Fine." Elia looks at him and tells him. "T-thanks, but no cuddling though." She lays down next to him, but starts to whine. She finally snaps and tells him. "I can't do this, I don't want to fight anymore!" Miles turns around and looks confused. "Fighting with you, it breaks my heart!" She tells him while tears fall outta her eyes. Miles also starts to tear up and hugs her. "I'm sorry, I don't want to fight either!" The two wipe their tears and they continue to talk. "I'm sorry for snapping at you." "I'm sorry for calling you weak." "Can I say something a little pathetic?" "Huh what is it?" "The reason I acted like that is because I never had someone besides my family worry about me so much. That's why when I was arguing with my family I was mostly calm, but when you stepped in, I felt weird. It felt strange, and I know it's not an adequate excuse but-" "It's okay, I felt the same way when you worried about me when we first met." "I know, but please can we be back together?" "What do you mean? We were still together!" "Oh thank goodness!" "Let's rest and tomorrow we can go back to our normal selves." "Heh, but can I get a goodnight kiss? I know you might not-" She stops when Miles grabs her and kisses her. "Of course, my little angel!" She blushes and calls Miles. "I love you, my shining star!" She pins him onto the bed and covers each other with the sheets and starts showing each other they're love for each other!
