(NOT EDITED SORRY IF MISTAKES)

MILLIES POV:

"Jake it's fine, you're allowed to do whatever you want. It wasn't fair of me to call you. I don't think I should be here. I mean, we are just...friends."

I replay that moment in my head over and over. The way he didn't say anything after, didn't even move.

I shouldn't of walked out after that, I regret it so much.
After I left I went to the only other place I knew I could...

--

The door opens and a tired Noah pops his head through.
"I'm so sorry Noah, I know it's late I just had no where to go," his eyes softened at my words.

"It's fine, you can come here anytime, any day, I don't mind."

"Thank you," I responded.

He leads me instead and the house is very cozy, the walls are covered in pictures.

The house is deadly silent and the darkness scares me slightly.

"Why are you around this early?" Noah asks handing me a glass of chocolate milk.

"My dad..." Noahs eyes widen and he suddenly awakens more. "Yeah, I originally went to uh- Jakes but he had someone staying earlier that day,"

Noah knew exactly what I meant.

"Really?! Him?" I am surprised by his confusion.
I give him a questioning look and he just laughs.

"Sorry I just didn't expect him to be with another girl I mean have you really not noticed how he looks at you?"
I slowly shake my head.
Doesn't he look at me like a human?

"He looks at you as if you're made of glass, so fragile that it makes his heart beat twice as fast at the thought of you getting dropped or someone making a crack."

Did I understand anything he just said to me...no.

"You should be a poet," I say and we both start giggling.
We put on a movie but I start to fall asleep so Noah leads me to his bedroom.
His room was simple but beautiful.

"I'll go on the couch," he announces.
"Don't be silly, not like we haven't slept in the same bed before."
ALL PG OF COURSE! Get your mind out of the gutter.

He sends me a questioning look so I pat the bed next to me.

As we both lay next to each other I notice how bright the moon is and how the rain had stopped.
The lights get turned off and I'm startled but it was just Noah.

I roll over and become face to face with him; the light from the moon shines perfectly into his face so I can see all his features.

"I missed you Lily."
"I missed you too Nosey."
Noah lets out a grunt and wacks a pillow into my face.

"I told you to stop calling me that," he says rolling his eyes.

I giggle then lay onto my back to look at the ceiling.
"Where's your family Noah? Do you live alone?"

The bed tilts and I can feel him moving around beside me.
Silence is all I can hear for a few minutes until he finally speaks.

"My dad got a fancy job a year after you left so him and my sister moved to England, my mom wanted to stay and she promised to help me find you." My heart skips a beat at the last sentence so I gently grab his hand in mine and look over to him staring at the ceiling.

"When she lost hope she decided to move to England with the others but I had the choice to move here with my aunt." I feel him squeeze my hand then his eyes make their way to mine. "My aunt works long shifts at the hospital so yeah it's kinda just me right now."

I have missed so much since I left. A part of me wishes Noah would have moved to England with his family but also I'm kind of glad he's here.

The thought of our past saddens me but the thought of no sleep saddens me more so that means it's time for bed.

--

I walk through the doors of school but hardly anyone is here because of how early I am.
Noah dropped me home this morning and helped me get a few things from my house secretly.

When I walk into the field for fresh air I can see the football team in training. They're very good, I can see why our school only cares about them.

Just as I sit down Jake looks over and sees me.
My heart starts pounding but I'm not exactly sure why.
Ryan starts running over to me and pulls me into a hug.

"Eww you're all sweaty get off me," I shriek.
"Okay pretty princess," he mocks.
I sit for about an hour and watch the team practice and to be honest I've never really been interested in sports but right now it's slightly intriguing.

I get up and see a text from Noah so I start to make my way back to the halls.
Suddenly, my phone gets swiped from my hands and I look up to see Jake.

"Can I have it back?" I'm not in the mood to play.
Jake makes his way to behind a bleacher so I follow because I'm in desperate need of my phone back.

I can't lie, Jake looks good with all his football gear on but that doesn't matter.

Swiftly Jake turns around I walk straight into his chest.
"Ouch," I complain rubbing my head.
"We need to talk."
Do we though???

"Yes"
Oops I accidentally said that out loud.
I try reach for my phone but he puts it higher above my head.

"Jake seriously."
"I said we need to talk."
I let out a grunt and place my hands on my hips.

"Ok what about? spit it out."
Jake just stands there and stares at me in silence.

"Noah."
